Hey I have a 1436 tracker and I want to do something like what you did can you tell me what it would cost to build the front and back deck and floor like you did? Nice video
Liking the mod you've done to the jon boat. I've modded my aluminum v haul similar to your boat but 2x4's as support. Think I should have gone aluminum to save weight. 18mph to 14mph with the added weight on the 9.8hp.
I just put my carpet on my deck. I didn't put it on the 2x3s that are in place in the boat yet. My question is how do you hide the screws that you put on the deck into the boards? Or did you use nails and I just can't see them?
Good modification, thank you for sharing. Have you noticed a significant drop in performance with the 8HP with the new additional weight ? When you travel with the boat on the trailer, do you tie down the motor in some way to the boat or trailer ? Best regards, Steve
I’m hoping you reply because this an older video but I want to know how that 8 horse push’s you’re boat after the mods? I have a similar engine and I’m about to start working on my 14 footer v
This is my son and he passed tragically on 1/17/17. I’m so thankful for videos where I can still hear him. Although it will forever break this momma’s heart.
+ShootinginKy okay I was wondering because I have a 15ft tracker as well that I'm going to convert to electric only bass boat, but the only thing I don't like is how the livewell is made. I wish it was a little wider with the seat and after pulling the drain plug it leaves about 3/4"- 1"of water in it.
+_justlovettfishing Yeah, I had the same issue with mine. I got to where I just left the drain out all the time. It wouldn't b too hard to modify it tho if u r already modding ur boat. If I did it over, I would entirely cut out the stock live well and put a bigger one with a pump instead of just a drain plug.
Not until it has to. Will help you recover your boat if it takes on water. Won't sink like a rock. Also helps with sound muffling from waves or dropped lures, etc.
Very nice. Great job! Louisville ky here
Looks really nice. Your attention to detail is great.
ive been looking for a good set up to turn a jon boat into a drift boat, this one is my favorite by far. good work!
Very Nice...working on my first. I had decided to use all aluminum but after watching your video i am going to use some wood too. thank you.
Good job. Like the combination of wood and aluminum on front deck.
The perfectly done mod. This is exactly how I will be doing mine. Thank you.
Brilliant use of space!
Nice and clean buddy! Love it

Very nice I want to do something like this to my jon boat do you have any diagrams of how you did the storage compartments and the front deck?
Looks great.
bad ass man, thanks for the video!
Looks good

Would love to know how stable your boat is in the water. I'm thinking of doing a similar project with my Topper 15. Very nice job!
It is pretty stable. U can feel it if u stand in one side or the other but for only being 42" wide, I can't complain.
Would you be interested in putting a front casting deck on mine??
I can't find those nylon straps anywhere, where did you get those?
Thanks. I bought all my materials at lowes for roughly $500. If u shop around, you could probably get what you need cheaper.
Thanks

did it come with a trailer ?
How much did all the wood cost u
What kind of carpet did you use?
Yout boat is awesome!!!
Thanks man. I bought marine carpet from lowes.com. Don't remember the brand or anything. It's holding up good so far tho.
Man looks nice!! Do you have any led lights?
Wow this is great, it looks incredibly well made. Hows it go on the water?
How long is the boat ?
It's a 15' boat.
Sweet boat
Now say baba gump shrimp
Nice build, do you think it is more stable or unstable?
how much that styrofoam cost
and the carpet
great work. did you do any extra mods to the livewell?
Thanks, I left the live well stock.

+ShootinginKy Im still in the planning stages, but that's exactly what I have been thinking about doing!
I don't know why people thing the Styrofoam will help with the flotation, ya if it is sinking. Looks good
Do people really this foam inside a boat is helping it float?
Not until it has to. Will help you recover your boat if it takes on water. Won't sink like a rock. Also helps with sound muffling from waves or dropped lures, etc.
Gona b heavy . But nice
this is the guy with the bike can you get back in touch with me?
I'm jealus
Nice work!
