It always bothered me that Dex chose Darcy over Rachel that night when Rachel was supposedly all he ever thought about in college. Darcy wasn't much of a friend when she knew Rachel obviously liked Dex. She knew Rachel got embarrassed about saying shes been talking about him for six weeks. She swooped in and stole him out from under her. But, Dex, let it happen.

I watched this movie on HBO because my mom told me "come watch this movie with me, it's good." Ever since then, I really loved this movie and I was hooked. I have my mom to thank for that.

And his dad put the pressure on him saying the wedding was making her happy. Though his mom just wanted dex to be happy no matter who he married , his dad made it seem like he could put his mom back in a bad state. Plus from childhood he never did what he wanted because of what his dad expected. I y’all say he wasn’t good for Rachel but He loved her he just had to become his own person. He called off the wedding because he was ready to do what HE wanted ..was he wrong for needing time?

I was at the cinema the other night and my friend and I were far too early for the Southpaw film so we were sitting outside the cinema screening room, and then No Surprises played! Ironic because it was a huge surprise to me! Radiohead>
when i watched this a couple weeks ago it was with my dad who introduced me to radiohead which became my favourite band. I heard the first notes in the background and shot up and yelled “it’s radiohead” and we were both smiling giddily for the whole scene. This is my favourite radiohead song, it will always remind me of him.

Dex should of done at the very moment @3:00 what he did in the taxi and this story would of been so different, but then again if he would of done that then there would not be a movie....hope there is a sequel!!!
I agree with most of the comments but if these scenes were dramatics, the book was a lot more intense and disheartening. The story is different than the movie.
