I love how terrible Dave is at timed jumps when there's a back'n'forth motion going on, he just mashes and always lions up with the part that doesn't work until be gets frustrated heheheh
Yeah that was so painful to watch, always jumping when it was on its way out 🤦♂️

The jump timing on that anti around 11:00 made me laugh so hard. Every jump timed perfectly wrong. I was truly impressed.
Edit: and again around 18:00, Dave's internal timer betrays him.
I cringed so hard that he was literally anti timing his jumps 😂
i just want to sit him down and play a metronome for him for hours
I am still laughing about the fact that he thought that there were multiple fish dropping while it was the same one despawning and respawning.
Wasn't it more likely to be a pipe feeding them to the claw? I don't think they despawn/respawn in that vertical distance, do they?

I figured that was the case after the second fish, but I thought maybe that's what it was supposed to look like, and it wasn't that after all.

Man, this level is amazing, the trolls are actually really funny. Good comedic timing, recurring gags, sound effects, etc.
Can we take a minute to appreciate how well the numbers accompanying the checkpoints are drawn with tracks?

10:30 Dave flexing off his internal timer skills that at this point are worse than a rock. It's incredible how he manages to constantly jump when the ice block is the furthest out, instead of doing the opposite. Also, the troll density in this level was amazing.
I think he has a simple but frustrating logical failure when approaching those types of things. Like, he keeps jumping at the exact moment that the path is open, but of course it moves so fast that by the time mario completes the jump, the path is blocked again. And he keeps doing that in perfectly timed rhythm to fail every single time, thinking it's somehow going to work. All he has to do is just jump when its closed, so by the time he gets up there it's open, but I think he just can't wrap his head around that lol.
Love how that cp1 was so unforced he had mega opportunity to die before he jumped up there and those ending antis are great

I tried to get first clear on this level and it took me like an hour. I'm fairly certain I'm 1 of the 2 clears shown at the beginning while showing the level. I finally made a DGR video, kinda?
Edit: I just got PTSD when DGR hit the flame/ice block anti. That broke me and I'm still not fully healed. I feel DGR's pain.
All those non stop falling fish was amazing

Caught every troll along the way to check point 2 that was hilarious. Cocky at the end only to get sent back and fight anti-softlocks

He established earlier in the video that his instinct was not to be trusted, so clearly left was the correct play.
