I bought Stearns arm rest off eBay 4 years ago. I used that hardware that came with it on 2 bolts, and the center one I used a rivnut. No issues did it the first month I had the tractor. Good video, Ed.
Stens was on my list for sure, but couldn't pass up the deal on Husqvarna. The only issue with these arm rests is making sure you fold it up before dismounting, lol. I've caught the handle in the gut a few times so far, lol.
The other route I've seen is Stens model 420-104. I'm not sure how similar the bolt patterns are for the Stens, but it can't be too different. See the comment below. Christ used that model for his GC.
lol, really helpful there. Appreciate the cryptic feedback. If you're referring to them breaking off, this is not uncommon for anyone using even the stock 1725 arm rests to support their entire body weight. Especially true for large people. They are arm rests, and that's how I use them.

I purchased the GC1725M which comes with the arm rest. They have a bolt that adjusts the level of the arm rests under the arm rest.
Great video. I think I will do the same for my 1723e.

I think for $130 I might have gone OEM. I had armrests before and took them off. (Too big for rests). Nice to see low cost substitutes.
Others would probably go that route too, but this solution seems to be working well. I'll post updates if I run across any issues over time.
just be carefull trust me youll see why latter
