Onions contain Alisin which stimulates hair follicles which In turn grow. I have tried this for thinning hair and it works. I used organic onions, I put it through a juicer and added rosemary and peppermint essential oil. The mixture actually smelled nice. I rubbed it into my hair and scalp, then put a shower cap on and slept with the mixture on, then I rinsed it off in the morning. I believe if people did this every night for 6 months they would realize it works. The reason u never hear anything about it is because once again no one can patent onions, and it would through a monkey wrench into profits for the hair loss industry, big pharma. Hello, i hope someone reads this who can help. I have never had a problem with my hair until i turned 17, suddenly i went from a full head to round patches and extreme thinning (60% of head was bald). I saw a doctor, he put me on predisnone; Hair fully regrew whilst on it,within a week of being weened off it, my hair, lashes, and all body hair fell out within 4 days. Extremely sore to touch - felt like i had swelling under my skin - severe inflammation. 4 Years later i have no hair, i have been told its not scarring and occasionally get few hairs. I would say he's experiencing alopecia universalis. There's three types of alopecia. Alopecia areata which is partial hair loss, alopecia totalis which is complete loss of all scalp hair and alopecia universalis meaning complete loss of all scalp hair.

Has to do with food. My grandparents died with full sets of hair in their 80s. My mom hair started thinning and now mine too. It’s not genetics because our family in different parts of the would have their full set of hair.

Hello..i am a alopecia areata female that has beeb dealing with this autoimmune disease since i was 4years old i am now 41.ive been through it all..startn off right at the age when u start preschool my hair started to fall in n lil dime size pieces then quarter pieces and eventually completely bald.no eyebrow eyelashes nor hair on my skin.i have had topicalcream.steriod injection at age 16.and even used rogaine and all that done was pulld out more n gave me facial hair that i eventually had to shave daily like a grown man.ive been completely bald more then i can count and as i right this message I am currently. Nothing for me as a black African American has workd in all my life.i have 6other siblings that hasn't been affected im the 5th kid of seven with all family members havn hair.idnt what to say but as of todaybi continues to struggle with this disease. I am n tears as i write this message because i never want a kid to ever have kids.adults star n tell u hurtful things that they no nothing about. Its very emotional and as long as u have family n friends that luv n accept u nothing else matters.i say i will eventually start to mb embrace my baldness but idk if im ready for that still til this day..try all u can do to help ur child because kids can b cruel.im strong in alot of ways but that will always b my weakness..always tlk to ur kid about the disease and always show them luv n tell them their beautiful reguardless of whats seen on the outside has nothing to do with the inside were all human and jus want to b .loved n respected at the end of the day..i currently have 2kids boys and nothing is wrong wit them 12 n 24 yrs old with thickhair n no issues with this disease
I would say he's experiencing alopecia universalis. There's three types of alopecia. Alopecia areata which is partial hair loss, alopecia totalis which is complete loss of all scalp hair and alopecia universalis meaning complete loss of all scalp hair.

Has to do with food. My grandparents died with full sets of hair in their 80s. My mom hair started thinning and now mine too. It’s not genetics because our family in different parts of the would have their full set of hair.

If it is itchy, redness on the scalp then it could probably be scarring alopecia.
I started to have a receded hairline, and then it attacked my entire scalp in only 4 months, and now a few days a ago I started to realize my sideburns are thinning. I've been fighting AA for 27 years and doctors are worried my bone density has been compromised from all the steroid injections I've had. I'd like to get into a study where they use JAX Inhibitor therapy. One study I applied to get in wanted me to have a 50%+ hair loss to get it... mine was only ~40%... I'm the only one in my family that has had AA. I've heard if you have the gene you are predisposed to acquire AA AND you go thru some super-intense stressful situation, that'll turn on that gene and AA takes over... Praying some team will come up with the magic bullet ! ! ! ;-)
