the claw grip is actually secret a lot worse of a grip compared to others due to the complete lack of swing control and the swing curve it brings these disadvantages become a lot more clear as your skill increases the recommended grip for now is really default or reverse claw and i personally use reverse claw because its a lot easier to transition to from using claw grip previously (like i did) sure you get a bit more swing angle but its really not worth it and pretty unnecessary and its way better to use a grip you can actually control your swings with and learn to just swing bigger by yourself using acquired skill you also often mention "wrist flicking" being a benefit of the claw grip and thats what makes it better than the others but this is actually widely discouraged by pro players as swinging at a calmer controlled speed gives you way better accuracy consistency over throwing your wrist at every block you see avoiding wrist flicking also requires swing control which is something that claw grip has a lot less of, unlike default grip and reverse claw
Better Tip. Use his rotations as a base line and then fine rotate your settings to make your sabers an extention of your arm. that will increase your speed and your percentage because it creates a "zero point" rotation at your wrist. Watch my most recent BeatSaber vid to compare. Hope this helps.
The second pair I'm using are called ring sabers, I'm not sure if there is a quest varient, but you can check on the qosmetics community discord! And I'll have to try that, I've not tried that rotation before
I use a grip where my hand is on the side of the controller and my index finger is on the ring while my middle is on the trigger. I believe it's called one finger claw. It's pretty good for jumps

It's true that if was loved on quest 1 and ridt S, but people should start to understand that this grip is from the worse choice on quest 2. First the wide gripping area causes a lot of inconsistancy in where the sabers are placed. When speeding up, the grip tends to rotate and adds wobble and controller settings inconsistancy, when reaching high rank this starts to be the major drawback. (Even the highlt skilled players that were using it switched to default lmao) Default is probably the best grip to recommend on quest 2, it's the grip used by the best ranked player on both scoresaber and beatleader. You shall take a note on that: EVERY grips, i said every, even default. Needs proper controller settings that are PERSONAL and depends on your hands and controller angles in hands. I personally am part of the group of people that really helps the players and give good advice, even made easyoffset official tutorials and feature requests. Made settings for a lot of top 100 players and also new players. If you have inward swings : ( ) on quest 2 default, you could try those in base game and adjust later, you need to adjust them no matter what at some point: Pos X: 2.5 Pos Y: -1.0 Pos Z: 3.5 Rot X: 8 Rot Y: -10 Rot Z: 0 Oh and also your controller settings weren't that great, your swings seemed outward and possibly too upward for the balance. But whatever it doesn't matter, it's been two years. You can still head out to the cube community discord in the tips-grip channels to see what's really going on or to get help.
I have the Atrix grip straps and have gotten to doing easier Expert+ maps with a variation on the conventional grip (with the straps cinched down to hold my hands firmly) but as you mentioned - all that weight hanging out at the end of your hand kills flick speed so making progressing to more complex E+ maps is going to require a faster grip. Tried the claw for a bit early on but it was pretty uncomfortable so gave up on it... might need to go back to it.
if you've got covers for your Quest Touch controllers which strap your controllers to your hand, I'd suggest experimenting with setting the X Rotation between 70 to 100; I've been using it and as a beginner, it's allowed me to hit patterns that totally messed me up before.
I use none of these grips. Basically what I do is default but backwards. Putting my thumb on while slightly my hand is on the controller. ( for loose movement which I like and easier wrist flicks )

I just heard about changing grips and I saw the m grip and without knowing it existed, shifted the controller until I got rk2 and thought I made something unique 😂

Bro there is a certain part in a song that I’m stuck on. I know the pattern but I can’t swing fast enough because of the fat fucking controllers that the quest 2 offers. On quest 1 and rift s I could do it with ease.

So I actually record using obs on my pc, I'm playing the pc version of the game. In order for it to look smoother, you can actually use sidequest and enable it to 1080p. Unfortunately, you'd have to use Beat Saber Legacy to get mods again since they aren't updated to the latest version of the game yet, as well as getting the smooth camera mod for replays.
So I'm actually playing on PC, but you can get mods for the quest now! There's a beat saber modding discord that has mods for the quest, and you can use bmbf to get them. Right now they don't support the latest version, but you can back up your save data and get the previous version using beatsaber legacy!
Used a camera mod called smooth camera 2 in mod assistant. It only increases it on the display it's showing the game on, not inside the headset itself unfortunately

I just use the defult grip but with out holding any of the top i hold it like a real sword because i find it to feel the most normal

my controller got damaged and now the tracking is messed up (8 days without claw grip)
