  • Just mix the savory tomato and olive scones in a food processor. These scones can also be eaten as an Italian meal.

    ◎Savory scones
    250g rissoul
    30g granulated sugar
    Pinch of salt
    1 tablespoon baking powder
    60g unsalted butter
    1 whole egg
    50g unsweetened yogurt
    3-4 tablespoons milk
    15-20g sun-dried tomatoes
    15g olives
    For glazing
    1 egg yolk
    1 tablespoon milk
    Flour for hand-drying (not included)
    Clotted cream
    ① Cut the butter into cubes
    ② Put the flour through butter in a food processor and mix (it should be crumbly).
    ③ Put the dough from ② in a bowl, add the combined whole egg and yogurt, and mix roughly with a cardboard.
    ④ Add 3 tablespoons of milk to ③ and mix roughly with a cardboard.
    It should be thick enough to hold together with your hands. If there is not enough water, add milk.
    ⑤ Roll out the dough on a floured surface to a thickness of 2 cm, place finely chopped sun-dried tomatoes and olives in the middle, and wrap the dough around it. Repeat folding and rolling 4 to 5 times.
    ⑥ Preheat the oven to 220 degrees.
    ⑦ Cut out scones of your desired size using a mold and arrange them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
    ⑧ Brush twice with egg for glazing.
    ⑨ Bake at 200 degrees for 16 minutes.
