- Welcome back to my coin collecting channel, today we are hunting for rare and valuable two pound coins from a £500 bag of £2 coins, today's big bag of coins is from the Bank. We are hunting for commemorative coins, error coins and coins in particularly good condition.
We are looking for the Olympic Handover £2s, the rarest, the Commonwealth Games £2s, Shakespeare £2s (Skull, Crown, Jester), Error coins, Territory £2s and everything else that we haven't already found for our collection.
Can we find the rarest and most valuable £2 coins? Are £2 coins worth collecting? Is it going to be another top coin hunt? Or our best coin hunt ever? Let's find out!

I just started collecting £2 coins and my first find was a first world war navy coin. I feel like that was a good start from what I understand

I was told that once over 11% of a circulating coin was fake, then it was changed
Strange how certain coins seem to get found by different cointubers at around the same time. I've seen a few other hunts recently where the Jersey Parishes was found.😁
i notice with my hunts that a coin will elude me then when it shows i find a run of them. defo not a coincidence, something to it but couldnt say what.

Good find on the 1998 coin. How long are coins there allowed to be in circulation before being removed? Coins here in the USA are never taken out

I'm a very ameteur collector, and unfortunately when covid hit I was so skint I had to sell a small collection of coins my dad brought back from his travels abroad, broke my heart but needed to eat, so feel awful needs must you seem the authority on coins, I've collected quite a few always check my change, thsnks love the channel, ⭐❤️

The Jersey is a great find, even in that state. Nice hunt. The last few times I was visiting England I was never given 2 pound coins in change, almost always given two 1 pound coins, or occasionally multiple 50p. I kept trying to organise so that a 2 pound coin would have made giving change easier, but either the shop assistants didn't have any, or they preferred not to give them in change.
I'm surprised you have never found s parishes, I've found lots, even a '97. Decent enough hunt 👍
I have the 40yr Ann of the 50p set... the best part of my collection in my opinion. 14 other 16 coins we can honestly call rare coins .. the mint sold only 1039 proof sets but out of those the London mint brought a good few and put that nasty plating on them.. if rumours are to be believed we think that maybe only 500-600 of the proof sets left in there original state ... I paid £650 for the set ..
Question, that shouldn't sound like a boast... I've been to the Isle of Man, Guernsey, Jersey, Alaska... so many places before I was interested in finding coins. Have you done the same, and gone to a place with loads of coiny goodness, and ignored it all, only to regret it now?
I need NIreland, England and Mary Rose to finish and i worked out from bank statments that im 19 bags in.

Very nice Jersey Parishes i was lucky enough to get 1 in my change last year i think its really cool with the little symbols for the different parishes shout out for Burns all the best.
emergency service on a coin would be nice but you should put Sir Snacks protector of the realm hunter of the coins on a coins!! lol cheers to you
