    I do not think India is in the race of Superpower. Instead, shall we call India a
    Soft power, a Champion for peace and harmony in the world. It is a spiritual land, which laid foundation for human civilization on the Globe. Superpower is a loaded word - India can achieve faster growth now at 7-8% compared to its traditional 2% under decades of Congress Party rule. The late Narasimha Rao was the only economic reformer in the Congress Party, and it's no coincidence that he's the most hated by that party today. The Congress Party exists to preserve the interests of the Nehru-Gandhi family and its pyramid of cronyism. Economic reformers like Narendra Modi have their work cut out for them, but there's an increased optimism that he can make headway in loosening India's knot and breaking the logjam.

    • @obsidianstatue
      @obsidianstatue 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Saral Thakur that's just a logical fallacy, most of those "indian" engineers are educated and trained in the west. ie if Somalia were to be given the same education system as US or UK they will also provide their proportion of engineers. also I doubt your claim that 80% of engineers in the world are indian.

      obsidianstatue HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA..you must have never heard of IITs and NITs.
      JEE is world's toughest entrance exam happens in india,you won't even make the cut.
      you still think india is 3rd world country,then visit india 1st.
      it's like saying America is just a country of criminals because they have the highest crime rate,lower in population than india but higher crime rate. lmfao.

    • @obsidianstatue
      @obsidianstatue 8 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      +Saral Thakur you said and I quote "India gives out 80% engineers to the world double of USA and UK combined."
      I said and I quote " I doubt your claim that 80% of engineers in the world are indian"
      seems like the call center idiot can't read or write, how typical.
      also the toughness of exams are not a measurement for quality of education it simply means the lack of education resources in india, compounded with the effect of a huge population thus creating a very competitive yet lacking education system.
      perhaps you should address the fact that only 74% of indians are literate, then maybe boast about your imagined "figure of 80% of the world's engineers are indians."

    • @gabbar51ngh
      @gabbar51ngh 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Dumb ass i said double of UK and USA combined.
      America can barely run without chinese or indians guys around.
      And did you even take science as a subject?
      how do you know anything about resources in india? IIT delhi students created a supercomputer,how much resource do you want?
      problem is you guys are jealous simple as that.
      I bet you can't even play with lego bricks properly.
      and if you think you are tough try to solve at least 1 sum of that paper.

    • @obsidianstatue
      @obsidianstatue 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Saral Thakur here's what you said "India gives out 80% engineers to the world double of USA and UK combined."
      maybe you can't read your own comment, but you said and I here explain "80% of the world's engineers are indian," or "indians makes up 80% of the world's engineers" or "india provides 80% of the world's engineers" whatever the case they are all lies =)
      btw last time I checked india has no top 10 supercomputers, they are either in China japan USA Germany or Switzerland. =) yet another lie.
      again maybe you should address the fact that only 74% of indians can read =) the world average in literacy rate is 84%, so in that regard india is closer being a 3rd world hole in the ground than a "80% world's engineers are indian" type of country =)
      another fun fact according to the United Nations there are 646 million indians who defecate in the open daily, apparently you dont have enough engineers to build enough toilets LOL

Unfortunately no Indian journalists project the issue to solve the questions raising up in my mind. After viewing this video, I am some what satisfied that our Prime Minister is very well aware of things reflecting in my mind and has got some approach to them. This is a good and informative video and the intellectuals participating in the discussions are very efficiently touching every point of what India is? What it wants and what it can provide other countries? Worth sharing for the information of fellow Indian citizens for their information.

The attacks were not primarily a conflict between two religions, it was more of a individual hatred. The attacks happened in the less enlightened parts of the country but with the passing time, religious minorities in India are feeling safer and safer. Slowly with the young generation going more secular and secular, the religious extremists will fade away. A lovely discussion. Thanks for this

    A real and natural discussion. Almost everything addressed correctly. This is how a discussion should be carried out within our country by the intellectuals and by the politicians. If we could do this and follow the outcomes , we can solve all our problems and differences ultimately become a superpower. Superpower doesn't mean to have thousands of nukes but to be capable enough to protect the country from any external or internal threats, superpower means a super economy, super society, super education system, super infrastructures, advanced and modern technologies, best life style, maintaining diversity, in rich culture and and harmony.

Please take the voices on ground zero while addressing the issue.

    Any Indian leader who expects great things for India needs a different vision towards the future of India. The main task for any new leader who expects to make India a superpower has to realize that the task lies in transforming the personality of India into a totally presentable one to the modern world not only superficially but in a deeper sense. The leaders have to teach Indians how to be efficient, disciplined, no-nonsense, with proper priorities, with a proper sense of proportion, professional, keep the environment clean, with a quality for the Indian population equal to any country in the world. When you change the people, economic progress will happen by itself. At the moment 50 % of the population is either walking around doing nothing or using only half of their time properly. Gov't offices are half empty. Public industries are all at a loss. It's chaos everywhere. All these things have to change. So the main task for the leader is to change the people and the set Indian ways. Once you change the people all the other changes will come by itself.

    1Thiruvanathapuram
    2Kollam
    3Kochi
    4Honnavar
    5Panjim
    6Mumbai
    7Chennai
    8Visakhapatnam
    And more that would take too long to list, are all currently under plans to scrap poor infrastructure and replace it with modern 21st century infrastructure, roads, apartments, and even suburban houses.
    Theres a lot plans for better agricultural methods, to feed people much cheaper and lift "people" out of poverty.

    There are Indians in Germany, but they are often reluctant to learn more than English as they regard German as an unnecessary burden. This makes it unlikely that Indians will develop deep roots in Germany, necessary for more success and migration. Germany offers international English speaking workspaces and Hindi speaking specialized grocery shops. The situation is changing to a degree by integrating the German language into Bollywood cinema, which has far reaching positive effects for Germany, because of the global cultural importance of Indian cinema far beyond its borders. Cultural affinity is necessary to extremely helpful for language learning success and is acquired by the voluntary leisure time consumption of cultural products. Despite the increased economic potential, the money is usually not sufficient to motivate enough for the long journey of learning any new language.
    In the video you can hear very strong German accents which are a strong sign that these speakers learned English at a German school and utilized it occassionally for their work. But they never immersed themselves much into spoken English cultures, leaving their strong German accents intact.
    The Indian participant in the discussion makes very good contributions.
    The former German ambassador to India hasn't researched Indian history well. India was the second country in the world that industrialized after Great Britain and contributed a significant number of British ships during the Napoleonic wars. India industrialized decades earlier than Germany, which was a latecomer in Europe. India is the first country that was forcibly deindustrialized by the British Raj that prior gave them the know-how and structures for their early industrialization. Ghandi explicitly attacked these de-industrialization policies of the British Raj with his non-violent disobediance.

    The German- ex ambassador in India is 100% correct. India needs good infrastructure, roads, airports, communication, education system which does not only gives degrees but degrees with good practical knowledge, good & clean electricity, good source & distribution of clean water, including modern FARMING, etc & India needs help & expertise from all it's well wishers, friends, countries who believe in democracy & also who does not believe in democracy because they also have certain contribution to make towards India's growth. Germany is one of that country with huge technical knowledge & expertise of almost everything that India needs.
    And MODI is the person who can do it- because he is 100% HONEST, & he wants India to progress, The two most obstruction in the process are-- RELIGIOUS BIGOTRY< & caste system. made worse by Pakistan & few other xenophobic countries.
    But both these problems are being tackled in a positive way by MODI & his ministry.
    Naxals are not a problem as some of your members suggests, naxals are on way out.
    & there is no violent nationalism in India, Modi & all the govt's in India were or are NOT violent. INDIANS of any religion are not violent & they do not believe in violence.
    These voices are raised by some orthodox religious groups , CHRISTIANS, MUSLIMS, SOME HINDUS. this is everywhere in the world including the so called developed countries.
    India has now a leader who wants India to progress democratically & i would like to call upon the democratic world to come forward & join with its progress towards a better world.
    May I say that I am not an YES MAN.

    India and Germany together can help each other at economical level in the first place.
    As said by the Ambassador, Indian young force need to be trained in vocational skills and hence decent industrialization can happen to employ, increase GDP and lift lower middle class out of penury.
    India can develop models that of Poland, Germany et all from 10th std onwards to develop industrial skills in partnership with Germany.
    Also as part of JV, German Companies like Bentz etc., can open their design subsidiaries to develop Indian engineers in high level skill training. Germany has invested in Phillippines but not in India.
    Modiji using his foreign policy can influence such important industrial breakthrough for India's future.
    Likewise India can help Germany with its huge soft power as it looks Germany is not digitized completely to support it's economic powerhouse. Cultural exchanges will also sentizise the Indian diaspora there. Learning German language and Indian languages can also help in future for political understanding.
    Also student exchange programs in builing world class automobiles which India is also good at but never in the same league of Germany.
    Nuclear policy is one area to look at. Developing clean energy is a huge challenge for India and Germany can help in transferring the technology for solar panels, reactors, heavy water production etc.,
    Also how to improve technological inventions. Germany can help to build world class innovation centres in India to develop indigenous technology by Indian technocrats in India itself.

    Indeed Modi is a remarkable personality. Matter of concern is when talent is retained and engaged in India. Addressing the ground level issue's pertaining to fundamental equal human rights, reformation in policies, standards and regulatories, infra development, importance in reinstating citizenship, more transparency and connect with people, vis-a-vis includes pre/post retirees well planned scenario, having proper databank of individuals and corporations, technology adoption alike some of the advanced countries, judicials to justify it's role. Reinstating Hinduism culture, tradition and heritage, normalising anti-nationalists. Capping required to be imposed on wealth, capital, income, expenditure, property, product pricing, etc. Huge gap between Govt & Non-Govt issue's. Ethnic issue's is another serious matter.
    The interacted deliverance in this discussion is u ique of it's kind which covers many aspect of concerns.
