I'm old, live on ssa, have zero influential friends, and when God comes through for me. He will see you through the storms of your life. Everyday I prayed for strength to release that tight grip. And Jesus take the wheel. I know when you're going through that storm, you think where is God for me? I work so hard, I try to be a good person, why hasn't he answered my prayers? Why does He keep sending me through these Rocky seas, and God answered because your enemies can't swim. Don't you dare give up. If God loves me. He loves everybody. "Love for God shines forth in love for others." I do not remember from whom I first heard this wonderful quote, but Tammy certainly exemplified it, whatever anyone thinks of her. I had an aunt, whom I dearly love, who lived out those words, too, who was off-beat, loved everyone, never met a stranger, was always very positive and giving, but was sometimes snubbed by those who were put off by her distinctively different, bubbly personality, but overwhelmingly loved by everyone else. She always took time to speak to people, offering encouragement with words of Godly wisdom from His Word. Children, especially loved her, she was so much fun just to be around, so she was a big hit as a nursery worker. She fell ill of very aggressively fast growing brain tumors that she didn't even know about until just about a week before she passed away, when she had what she described as the worst headache of her life. She went in for surgery to have the tumors removed, but it was already too late and she never woke up on earth again. She fell into a coma and died two days later. I miss her so much! I can easily picture my aunt and Tammy in Heaven chattering away, laughing, hugging everyone, all in praise and glory to the Lord. I am so much looking forward to the day when we, who are born again believers, are all together in Heaven! WHAT A DAY THAT WILL BE!!! But as exciting as it will be to see other people, NOTHING will compare to joy of being face to face with God, the One Who loves me, and saved me by His Grace, by Jesus imparting His OWN righteousness to me on the day that I was spiritually reborn in His pure, perfect blood! NOTHING in this sin-cursed world is worth hanging onto if it means missing a life of joy and peace unspeakable and full of the glory in the Lord, and having full assurance that He will NEVER leave me nor forsake me! If you have never personally submitted to Jesus as Lord, I STRONGLY urge you to do so!

This is really weird- I was placing MY song "Miracle" that is dedicated to my childhood friend who passed away in the late 70's...and Tammy's came up. Do you know when Tammy passed away? she'd had a very rough marriage, I think?

"Love for God shines forth in love for others." I do not remember from whom I first heard this wonderful quote, but Tammy certainly exemplified it, whatever anyone thinks of her. I had an aunt, whom I dearly love, who lived out those words, too, who was off-beat, loved everyone, never met a stranger, was always very positive and giving, but was sometimes snubbed by those who were put off by her distinctively different, bubbly personality, but overwhelmingly loved by everyone else. She always took time to speak to people, offering encouragement with words of Godly wisdom from His Word. Children, especially loved her, she was so much fun just to be around, so she was a big hit as a nursery worker. She fell ill of very aggressively fast growing brain tumors that she didn't even know about until just about a week before she passed away, when she had what she described as the worst headache of her life. She went in for surgery to have the tumors removed, but it was already too late and she never woke up on earth again. She fell into a coma and died two days later. I miss her so much! I can easily picture my aunt and Tammy in Heaven chattering away, laughing, hugging everyone, all in praise and glory to the Lord. I am so much looking forward to the day when we, who are born again believers, are all together in Heaven! WHAT A DAY THAT WILL BE!!! But as exciting as it will be to see other people, NOTHING will compare to joy of being face to face with God, the One Who loves me, and saved me by His Grace, by Jesus imparting His OWN righteousness to me on the day that I was spiritually reborn in His pure, perfect blood! NOTHING in this sin-cursed world is worth hanging onto if it means missing a life of joy and peace unspeakable and full of the glory in the Lord, and having full assurance that He will NEVER leave me nor forsake me! If you have never personally submitted to Jesus as Lord, I STRONGLY urge you to do so!

@@polly-fe3pq I was around it the 80s and I hated the puffy shoulders. My mum looked like a quarter back as she wore gigantic shoulder pads. To make things worse she had a giant afro that looked like a helmet ⛑ 🪖.

i know a MUSLIM lady, a very good-living spiritual muslim, who had a personalproblem and could not seem to overcome it. she prayed, got no reply. but when she put the radio on one day, this song by tammy came on AND INSTANTLY HER PERSONAL PROBLEM WAS SOLVED!!! i swear to GOD that this is true. so, you see, heaven IS open to ALL of us, regardless ofwhat religion we have. and i know another lady whose favourite hymn is AMAZING GRACE. god does get through to us all, does he not?
