    M. R. Bawa Muhaiyaddeen's (Ral.) 40th Day Gathering
    Circa January 17th 1987
The only visual remembrance I had of M. R. Bawa Muhaiyaddeen's 40th day gathering after his death was a small xerox type copy of a photo I took. I had taken many photos that day but the negatives had vanished. In the summer in 2015 I decided I was going to find the negatives. I said a little prayer
to help in the process. There were hundreds of envelopes of thousands of negatives. What are the chances?
Magically they were in the first envelope I opened. Unearthed after some 28 years. They were in perfect condition and you can see them below.
At the end is a little story of a salute of sorts at the gravesite and after that are present day Mazar photos continuing to the end of the video.
The grave is where the Mazar stands now near Coatesville in Southeastern Pennsylvania some 33 miles from Philadelphia.

    The Story
I had finished taking photos and as the prayers were being said I witness the following event: On that overcast day a flock of Canadian Geese were barely audible off in the distance. Something was different about their behavior and their honking.
They first flew from right to left for about three hundred yards in a V formation. Then they turned left and the honking intensified.
Were they heading right for us?
They were flying very low and within seconds they were right overhead, I would say about twenty feet from the ground.
I could see the individual pin feathers on the lead one's belly as they passed overhead. It seemed like slow motion at the time.
It happened so quickly that there was no way to get any kind of photo that would translate into what just happened.
It was a flyover salute to M. R. Bawa Muhaiyaddeen.
A flutter of wings and they were gone.
    WOW
The Song "Andavan" (God) was sung by Bawa Muhaiyaddeen in Sri Lanka, in Tamil,
    his native language.

I thank you for giving me copy of the drawing of the mazar of Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti, that Bawa visited in a vision.I still can't believe that you talked to me late in the night at a Wedding at the mazar, long ago and at the following Thanksgiving, you gave it to me at the Fellowship. Thanks for conferring that honor upon me.May Allah Bless you. When you visit the mazar, please Present my Salam to Bawa and pray for me.
