No.111 Trains Around Werrington Junction 18th & 23rd November 2023

Due to other commitments and some very cold weather I am rather short on content for the end of the month. Nevertheless I did manage to get two steam excursions on the same day going to York via different routes then the magnificent Deltic, 55022 working the Kings Cross to York leg before handing over to A4 Sir Nigel Gresley for the onward journey to Edinburgh.

Weather is far too cold for me at the moment, must try to get out though, wouldn't have bothered me not very long ago ...

An unfortunate side effect of getting older is the diminshing level of tolerance to colder weather and the subsequent increase in heating costs.😀
