    Topic proposals my guy:
    1. Do the A series at least the A45 or CLA 45 AMGs, there are two generations
    2. Do a "Things to do first when you get an (E63 W211 for example) to make it bullet proofs or some sort of Must do mods"
    3. Swapping out aftermarket stuff, e.g. I hear the R230's air suspension manufacturer went bust. Maybe you could offer suggestions on aftermarket alternatives or something?
    4. Do lists of other superlatives like most powerful, most comfortable, most reliable, best jack of all trades AMGs and such
    5. Noticed you haven't done anything on models that are top but not an AMG like say the E500 W211. Would love to know your thoughts on em. You could always compare them to their AMG siblings so it's on brand.
    I think I speak for most of those who watch your content that it's great and a damn shame that you don't put out as much or as often. I hope those of like mind would show some support so you can implement some of the suggestions.
    For your consideration

    I have been an avid owner of AMG for many years. This C-Class is one of the last bad examples of how Ola Kallenius ruined the AMG (except for a few models like the C192 Pro). Most likely they will take a step back and come back to reason, the fact remains that Kallenius, in prey to a green ideology, has done many disasters (and I do not even mention the EV models...). And while AMG was producing this crap, BMW was producing the M3 Touring. Is there anything else to say? Greetings from Torino.

      Turbo 4 is pretty much the engineering gold standard for sedan/coupes design.
      High HP , and light weight vs all other designs.
      You can get 600HP out of it reliably in 4cyl. Adding more weight defeats speed. Just as Dodge.

    I hope you're able to review the new E 53. It has such a menacing look in black and the interior seems pretty nice, although the LED's are a bit over the top. I'm thinking of picking one up in a few years once depreciation brings it way down. I personally like the in dash screen design of the E class versus what they have in the C. Good point on the trunk line as that's what's hurting a lot of other brands too. That wagon is super hot

    One of the best W206 C63 reviews--straight to the point without stupid banter. I actually like the W205 design (pre-facelift) better. But I do like the hood heat extractor on this one! I agree, you do have to appreciate the engineering that went into it, but overall I probably wouldn't consider one in the used market when it's a bit more affordable. It's just too complicated. I like some tech, but I also like things simple too!

  • @kondjanegongo796
    @kondjanegongo796 วันที่ผ่านมา +5

    The interior looks good for today but its gonna date very badly as it ages... Those ipad screens just look cheap and low quality... The can at least integrate them better and like the Bentley, have a rotating panel to take the screen away and have analog dials or just wood panel. Worst offender for me is the digital IWC watch... how cheap must you be to try sell me a NTF of an expensive watch when the W205 had a real one. I see they continued with the trim covered in cheap silver foil which will peel in a few months time... Yuck
    As for looks, its a refinement of the W205 so neither here nor there for me. Who cares if its fast... for todays tech its slow.. against most EVs it will be destroyed. And that dissapointing engine noise and sound playing through the speakers to make it sound more agressive... NO!!!! Lastly it only has that performance for a few seconds then its back to under 400kw... AN ABSOLUTE NO FOR ME... THIS CAR SUCKS
    Lastly with that Battery, its gonna depreciate like an elephant falling off a cliff... no one is gonna want these cars when they start needing battery replacements

    The 206 is styling is absolutely on point, looks like a weapon, but the 63 has lost its heart and soul. The C63 was never about being particularly fast in a straight line or fastest round a track, but was instead just supposed to be mad and rowdy. The V8 was an integral part of that.
    And the sad reality is that I fear the atrocious sales of this model are not gonna be the catalyst for rethinking the C63 to bring back the V8, but rather a convenient excuse for Mercedes to kill off the model.

    I tested one of these about 13 months ago here in the UK, it is very impressive in its speed, looks, comfort and performance over all for a 4 pot turbo with electric motor, yes its a product of regulation here in europe and probably the direction of travel in car production. it is a very nice looking car and a extention of the technology in the A45 AMGS, it is in current markets the perfect car, BUT, being an old skool person I did have reservations the fact the fake noise being pumped through the stereo, the electric steering for the amount of time I had the car took some time to truely trust, under 30 years old you will love this car, over 30, its not quite the real deal in the realms of theartre.
    I find myself as a 54 year old Mercedes fan some what confused, this is a brillant car and the way things are going, but give me a 2012 507 edition, or a 2019 4 litre bi turboS with a stage 2 upgrade, but I am getting on.

  • @salvationbygracethroughfaith
    @salvationbygracethroughfaith 18 ชั่วโมงที่ผ่านมา +1

    so you have a high strung 4 cylinder, a big expensive battery and motor assembly, 14 liters of coolant just for the battery, awd AND rear wheel steering.
    This is the most disposable car they have ever made yet. NOBODY will be willing to maintain all that complexity, straight to the dump after the warranty is up.
    Turbo will blow a gasket on the engine, i know inside, they use plastic pickup tubes for the oil, plastic pans for the transmission and engine oil, plastic tubes, soft alloys, and fluid filled bushings everywhere. And now that you have a complicated steering and motor assembly at the back wheels, with those perishable joints, it will cost thousands to even look at it when there is a problem.
    Stupid

    My issue with the C63 & E63’s has always been its fuel efficiency as a daily driver, the fuel cost becomes a additional car payment very fast. This 206 generation seems like a nice daily driver, I really hope they depreciate like there is no tomorrow, would make for an awesome fuel sipping compact super sedan at like $45k USD with 30k odometer.

    The looks are on point, and the specs are impressive, but as others have stated, it's a hard ask for the consumer to fork over nearly $90K USD on a turbo 4-banger hybrid. This thing is going to be a service nightmare, forced induction on small engines is hard and leads to why so many of them blow up in the first place, pair that with a massive electrical system that is now integral to controlling the boost not just through an ECU but by having to physically spool the turbo constantly and bank accounts are going to get wiped out getting this thing fixed if something goes to pot (which is a matter of when and not if for modern MB).

  • @Boguardis
    @Boguardis วันที่ผ่านมา +1

    I think this is a good car, great even. However, it pales in comparison to what a true c63 should be. The c63 should always have a V8. An inline 6 would be better than the 4 popper but nothing beats the sound of an AMG V8.
    That's why I have my w211, even though it needs a lot of TLC (from being cheap and having health issues) I will never get rid of it. I might even have them bury me in it 😂

Too heavy, too complicated, 4 cyl engine, big batteries, tacky iPads, ridiculous badging, no physical controls, fake noise, just not worth it. Appropriate in some cars, but not an AMG. EU regulations need a dose of reality or risk losing their car industry to China.

    Nah!
    Excellent looking AMG, but it's just another Mercedes.

    Hmm 🤔...all things considered, I agree, nice forward-thinking car. But with a few key considerations, the price, the servicing & the relative usability; the 43 is the better buy. The same engine can be tuned to very similar output & it still retains the full usability of the platform... no trunk space loss, no E/S class level weight, & if you just have to have the look, you can always order the front end fenders & hood. Even a brake swap is on the table due to not having the regen system to consider. So, you make a 43S or just get a previous gen 205 with either engine & have lots of loot left over for performance & cosmetic upgrades.
    Having a 2018 GLE43 with the Weistec tune & filters, with having done the 63 brakes, wheels & tires upgrade, I can definitely vouch for getting a previous gen C43 & doing the same upgrades! The tune is $1.5K & takes the m276 to 440hp/520tq with better economy & sound. The big brake upgrade was found on Ebay & done for about $3K. The wheels & rubber would be cheaper on the C, but is optional. My point is that with all the extra money saved by even getting a new 43 & playing around with some parts bin swaps & a tune, the new 63 isn't as nice as it looks down the line.

    The wagon is almost passable… sedan is a miss in almost every way.
