Great bunch of finds. Ya'll finding is like mine. Scattered here and there. Not a lot at once. I got a couple hartbreakers from the creek i found the dove in a few days ago. That creek has flooded 3 times since i hunted it in the fall. I haven't had time to go. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks Eric ! Most of that stuff was found on a new site that is just now starting to wash out of the banks . I've found complete points just about everytime I've hit it after a high water. Stay tuned , there is going to be more killer stuff come out of the banks there . The offer still stands to come down and go rock hunting sometime . Winter is my favorite time to go . I hope you find a pocket full when you get to look your creek . Best wishes buddy.
Man! I’ve watched several videos in a row with some real smokers. And that is one of them right there brother. We are supposed to get some rain and I’m overdue for posting a smoker so let’s hope when I’m up to bat I hit one out of the park👍🇺🇸
I appreciate it Smoke . I put in alot of walking when I have time to look . It's nice to get lucky and find a few nice pieces . I hope you find a pocket full brother . The rain should help alot . I love to hunt in the winter. No bugs and it definitely isn't hot out . I appreciate you watching and best wishes to you brother.
Not every creek has artifacts . Try to look creeks that have exposed gravel bars that are near agriculture fields . Key in on creeks that have lots of game animals around . Indians were smart and if they camped in an area then it was because of plentiful game and or a good water supply . Creek hunting can be tough but once you train your eyes to look for shapes , edges, color, and material then it will get easier . If you are finding flint chips then you will find artifacts . I've learned over the years not to waste time in creeks that don't have exposed gravel bars and flint chips laying on them . Go look gravel bars after a good rain or flood . Gravel bars get rolled around pretty good and stuff gets exposed. Hope this helps . Best wishes brother
@@bluegrassrelics1969 will do, should I venture out a little further? I just don’t really know what county’s to look in. Love your videos though man keep ‘em coming! Thank you, I won’t stop searching I can tell you that. Found a small piece of chert today but that was it and a few 556 cartridges lol so idk if I will be going back there. Biggest thing I’m worried about is just not knowing what’s private property, if I don’t see no trespassing signs I assume it’s public but then I look on one of those hunting apps and realize it’s private property.
From where I’ve been looking so far it’s just too many big big rocks to really keep a keen eye for a point, I mean I have bad eyesight as it is but I can still see ya know. I just feel like where I’m looking is too much rock for me to find one, can’t really find any sandbars or anything like that
Nice Adena Waubesa. They are always thin and well made.
Thanks Jack !! I appreciate you watching . I hope you guys had a good Christmas and have a Happy New Year.
