At 11:40 you did get local gold from tower because you spawned the so-called voidmites (from grubs) whose attacks effectively count as your own attacks! Pretty sure without them you wouldn't have gotten the gold
Also a funny sidenote, the reason I know this is because I once lost a game due to the voidmites at the end killing our nexus after we barely aced the enemy team, and after checking the replay saw that 50 gold was awarded to the dead Nautilus who spawned them

Most people yap about patch being bad like ad lost value expensive items etc. But illaoi doesnt get effected by it she survives a lot which is why i adore her plus the meta is about surviving now so win win maybe?
y'know what, now that I think about it you do have a point, there is some merit to EVERYONE equally being nerfed by black cleaver's & steraks and the like. Ig it just hurts when 2 things occur: you're already ahead & don't need to survive you need to 1 shot the adc mid-game with your item lead, but now with cleaver dps nerfed & sterak's shield cut in half, that will undoubtedly affect all future fghts we take trying to 1v2 1v3 the enemy. That brings me to my 2nd point you mentioned surviving is the name of the game rn, which can be true a lot of the time, but honestly for us illaoi players we can only build tank so many times before we are inevitable let down by our teams when we KNOW if we just build cleaver+ more ad we could have single handedly removed the enemy adc from the screen. Which does not bode well for our item builds this upcoming split. I'm getting awfully tired of having to build Rookern & FoN against the fed-mid even tho I beat my enemy top laner, but if I wanna "survive" to help mid-late, I need a randuin's for the fed "jhin" & Frozen Heart for the Nocturne jg, it's like understandably frustrating.
@@Crona_Gowther_Kanato i didnt mean to touch a nerve there but i get you and along with ad lethality is also died heck ap is more favorable for all lanes i just watched naayil's vid and He admits that lethality died at least for aatrox and bruiser works somewhat as for illaoi apart from sunder and sterak i dont build that much ad i understand people play different maybe i am building wrong maybe illaoi does need more ad but idk illaoi always feels strong even though everyone equally nerfed
Imo the point is, everyone survives longer but without bursting the opposition Illaoi is more screwed since they can run away from her threat area, losing A LOT of dmg. Ibg feels almost mandatory to try and mitigate this point.
