on my e90 I have m220 m3 wheels. They are 8.5 and 9.5. I was rubbing in the rear because my shocks were dead, but I got new bilsteins and now it’s fine.
Hi JD Cars, needs some help please as I am desperate with my 2012 F30 328i. I disconnected the battery when I went overseas. Came back and connected the battery back and now all is dead. The only things that work are the electric seats, comes the BMW logo on the dashboard and the positioning lights. All the rest is all dead. The car is in my garage unable to start, the BMW dealer wants me to tow the car in and wants 300AUD/hr plus 200AUD for the tow. I would be happy to pay if there was a security to have the car fixed but I am worry the tech would not be able to connect to the car onboard computer to access the faults like in your case.... What would you recommend? The battery is fully charged as I used a CTEK charger... I was thinking in buying an icarsoft CR Pro to check if I could connect to the car CPU... Any advice is welcomed!!
Quick question...I have an F30 335i m sport with stock 19" wheels...I believe 8 inch wide in front, 8.5 inch on back. Would you say downsizing to 18" 8.5 square setup would work? I want to keep tires as wide as possible but I know I probably can't run 255s on the front. What do you think?
I can't say for sure, but it's somewhat unlikely they would fit without spacers as two different size spacers (front & rear) were required for this setup.
Jimmy I’m interested in knowing if it worked out , I’m currently in the same boat , I bought a set of BBS CH rears , trying to decide the size for the front
@@pedroramos3389 I wouls highly rocommand to go 8.5 or 9 for front. There are space but it is really limited and depend on which tires you use. I need spacer for PS4s but not for my winter pirelli tires.
I’m looking at 19x9.5 +22 APEX rims. Would this fit on my xdrive f30 335 with m sport brakes? I also need tires for this set up so do you know what would be good for this?
@@howlszn4937 unfortunately not, 9.5” squared minimum tire size recommended is a 245 tire and since I have warranty I can’t change my fronts to 245 wheel size. :/
@@AltClover2 im looking at some esr cs15 and really want 9.5 squared do you think it would fit? i have read so many forums and people have done jt but theres always someone saying its impossible
@@howlszn4937 It might. I saw a bunch of videos where it did work but then there were some videos where 9.5 was hitting the front struts and causing them to rotate and mess up while driving.
Aytt so if I understand correctly, logicaly my four set of 18 x 9.5 with (+30 offset) rims on my 328i 2013 should not rub on anything cuz with a +30 offset my wheel is more sticking out that inside like you in the video. Anyone that know the real answer?
@@howlszn4937 not currently cuz I'm in winter (snow) I would like to run yes 18x9.5 square wheels for my summer setup, they will probably need to be stretch to fit. But still don't know if it rub. So I didn't sell them yet.
does 8.5 really make a difference? Since on Rwd thats where the load is and i’ve heard more stories about the driveshaft twisting more so the diff not bashing you just genuinely curious
Thank You! I was wont to bay 9J ET40 to front, but now I know that I can't do this.
Happy to help!

Your video clarified ALOT of questions I needed answered. So thank you!!!!! Still running strong no issues?
So would 2017 440i xdrive gran coupe f36 fit 18 x 9.5 et35 squared with 255/40/18 stock adaptive suspension? No rubbing?
You get lower offset would like ET25 would have more Clearance for the shocks

Did you try to run 255 in front?
Would spacers help?
I’m looking to get 19x8.5 et35 square setup, with 255/35/19 tires. Should be fine I think right?
2016 f32 435xi
do u think putting on 666m on f30 20inches will be too much or okey
Totally up to you! I've seen people run up to a 22inch wheel on the F30, but that looks goofy in my opinion. 20inch looks good!
So I’m going for a square set up with 18x9.5 but want a bit wider tires say 265 or 275 ! Do you think I can pull it off ! I don’t Want to run a spacer
Nope , not in the front
What was the tire size on the square set up ? Not the 666m wheels , the other
I don’t really know anything about rims honestly but would 18x9.5 / +25 offset fit fine on an F30?

I got 4 19inch 9.5J with ET35 for my F34, I hope there will be enough space for the front rims instead of using spacers.
Hope it worked out, Jimmy! Good fitment now?

What's the offset on the 9.5" wheels?
10:28
I have 19x9.5 squared with +38 offset, would that give it a little more clearance up front?
Yeah that should give you slightly more clearance
38 would give you less clearance up front.

Do you have a link for those rims?
I don't have a link at the moment, but they're VMR V801
spacers?
Yes
Didn’t even show the after install properly
bruh that house though lol that’s how he can afford a lift in his garage haha
What’s offset
ET35 offset
You don’t put 9.5 in the front you need 8.5 front 9.5 rear with 275/35 245/40, otherwise you’ll destroy your diff
