2008-2015 always be the trademark of MotoGP theme. Although I like the 2016-2017 version too, sounds pretty sporty. The 2006 & 2007 gives me a nostalgia. I kinda dislike the current theme, too minimalist and not sporty enough.

I was born in 2002 and grew up with my father watching moto gp, the 2008 to 2015 themes will forever be my favorites, as well as the 2016 theme

Tiap kali Trans 7 menayangkan balapan MotoGP secara langsung, Anak-Anak yang udah pada main PS atau yang udah ngerjain PR mereka udah stay di depan TV nungguin balapan dimulai. Lucy Wiryono, Matteo Guerinoni, Joni Lono Mulia, Angie Ang, Putri Astrini, Estherlita Corralita, Maria Vania adalah sosok dibalik bertahannya MotoGP bisa ditayangkan dalam jangka waktu yang lama sehingga Trans 7 dijuluki sebagai "One and Only place to watch MotoGP". Saya harap tahun 2022 ini bukan tahun terakhir Trans 7 Menayangkan MotoGP. Perpanjangan Penayangan ajang ini belum dikemukakan, tapi kita lihat aja nanti.

You realize you're really old when you're the only one getting goosebumps wheen seeing the 2002 and earlier intros.
That guitar riff, mixed with the 2-stroke revving sound, images of an analog revcounter quick as hell and the violence of the old 500GPs, throws back to my memory the best and purest form of motorcycling action.
I was a teenager riding my Aprilia RS125 in those days, Rossi was winning championships at alternate years in all the classes, fighting with people like Alzamora, Ueda, Aoki, Martinez in the 125cc, Capirossi, Harada, Ukawa in the 250cc, Biaggi and Capirossi in the 500cc.
Garry McCoy was called the "slide king" for his insane drifts with the zero electronics 500gp beasts.
The top class was initially the empire of the Doohan/Criville duo, to become Rossi's shortly after.
I was tied to the TV every two weeks to watch all the races in all the classes and learn by watching these guys racing, before taking my bike to the hills around my homeplace in Romagna - Italy.
What a great time to be a young motorcyclist in that era!
I'm truly grateful for having been through all of this.

For me and lot of us indonesian, motogp sound intro from 2008-2015 is just an earworm and its scream trans 7 tv channel. Lot of good memories and nostalgia as well

2015 is the first time I watched motogp and when I saw the intro again, it was so nostalgic and it's almost 10 years ago

D&B drum beat with distorted guitars didn't work. Did they actually go between the same two intros every other year in the early 2000s? 2005 is really odd graphics, 2007 sounds like it's trying for Star Wars, 2008 - 2015 sounds (and looks) like a news broadcast, and the '15 - '18 are the same but more EDM.
0:22 just realized the 2001,03-04 version is like "Beat It" - Michael Jackson.

Musik latar pembuka MotoGP 2008 sampai 2011 paling legendaris, enak di dengar, mendebarkan, berciri khas dibandingkan musik latar MotoGP era sekarang 2015 sampai 2024 kurang greget dan kurang berciri khas 👍👍🙂

2008 kaya kesannya melekat banget ke motogp entah kenapa,mungkin waktu itu skill pembalap yang bikin tontonan jadi lebih seru,saling overtake sering terjadi,, nggak seperti sekarang motor MotoGP sebagian besar di control elektronik.saling overtake sangat jarang terjadi.tapi itulah kemajuan serba canggih nggak mungkin kita kembali ke era tersebut.. yang malah terkesan jadul di jaman sekarang.

2005 was best one, that was the first full season of motogp i watched, got interested after Grandad took my to Donington 2004, walked down pit lane, met Loris Capirossi, they fired up that evil 990 big bang Ducati. That was the moment i wanted a Ducati, there were railings to keep people back from the pit garages, the bike was about 15-20 feet away and these metal railings were shaking like there was an earthquake, it was incredible, it sounded and felt evil. The other bikes sounded good but not like the Ducati.

2000-2004 intro's were the best years. Camping at Donington 2003 with this intro playing on the big screen at night amidst all the bbq smoke and random fireworks. Trackside you had REAL engine sounds, like the Aprilia RS3, Ducati GP3, 1st gen Proton V5, Kawaski ZX-RR Screamer..... Not the generic V4 seamless shift nonsense you see today from everyone but Yamaha, plus the stadiums were packed out with passion and air horns. You don't even get that at mugello these days, luckily I managed to camp at Mugello back in 2008 where they used air raid sirens and techno music at 3am.... good times man :) It isn't even nostalgia, it simply had more soul back then.

My favorite is 2013-2015
My fav always been the one of 2005 for the cartoonish look and the overall result, even though I never been a VR46 fanatic and obviously he had a strong centrality there (couldn't be anything different).
I'm not even necessarily a fan of those graphics or that kind of music, but I just found that intro was a different thing from ordinary and honestly I appreciate a lot what minds created there.
