It's hard for Foreigners to have connections with the Jamaican public all because they already have their livelihoods in England, Canada and US. The players are not Jamaicans. You can't expect any better.

In 98 the football product was made up of local based players but today it's made up of intl players so if they market it that way ppl will come out. Even the way how the football is played can be a marketing tactic. But yea i understand your point

So true. There is only a few players in the national team that local supporters can relate to.
