I also have an unused box of wood slices, this looks so lovely & not too difficult. I'm guessing if I used my watercolour gouache, I'd have to put some sealant on it after painting using that, what do think? What else can we do with these slices? I'm a bit stuck! A snowy scene...at NIGHT. Sorry I had to. But yes, love the winter scene. I'd also like to get more opinions on using watercolor brushes with regular ol', water-based acrylic paint. I read that synthetic brushes are okay to use, but not natural hair brushes, but overall it is preferred to use separate sets. Thoughts?

Real gouache will reactivate with water. She said that Acrylic Gouache is different from regular Acrylics because it is dead flat or matte finish, but won't reactivate.. so it is kind of a combo of both.

If you have used regular acrylics, what do you find the difference is between the gouache acrylics are?
Hi Naomi, Emma said acrylic gouache dries to a permanent flat finish. Acrylics usually dry with a sheen.
