As a Florida fan, I’m not even mad....... I’m actually proud of my team we know UGA fans (not all but most) are going to trash talk, going to rub it in, oh well nobody expected us to stay in the game for this long, or better yet to even be ranked where we’re with the record we have, take away the turnovers and us have 4 starting/ rotating DB’s 2 of which are our best defensive players arguably out, and this game is even closer but should’ve could’ve would’ve, oh well🤷🏾♂️ were rebuilding people forget that lol this is still Jim McElwain recruits/ players that Dan Mullen has with we just ran out of gas at the end

@@greatnessawaits4151 LSU stopped the run in 2nd half only because UGA stopped running it. Recall when Fields was QB, UGA moved the ball running. Then for some reason UGA went back to the passing game. Even the announcers were commenting about it. That said, I don't believe UGA would have won the game by running more. LSU was the better team that day. It just would have been a little closer than it was. Kudos to LSU.That's coming from a life long, die hard GA. fan here.
Best of luck against Alabama. I think you guys will give Alabama more than they have faced. Take them down please.
Barry Daniels Well you are right that Georgia did steer away from the run, but you do have to admit that LSU did begin to stop it and pull away which is why Georgia panicked and started passing. But it doesn’t matter anymore I believe you guys will win the east and I do want to play you guys again. So yea I hope we take down Alabama to make that a reality. Best of luck from an LSU fan.
Glad to see this rivalry back up to the level that it deserves to be...the Gators came to HATE and play but that running game from the Dawgs (when consistent) just wears you out!

Look, I’m a Florida fan, but is it fair to say that this looked like a very even game except for Franks singlehandedly destroying Florida’s chances?
Tyler Kinney lmao it was a 1 score game until the 3rd quarter. Imagine if our defense didn’t have injured/suspended corners, and Franks didn’t turn the ball over 3 times. We could have scored on those drives
Silver XVI the defense did what it could, they were on the field too often and I think they should’ve blitzed Fromm more, so if the DBs had problems guarding, at least Fromm has to make an under pressure throw
Georgia fan here, but you can definitely say that. I was nervous until Jake hit Godwin for that touchdown to put us 12 up in the 4th quarter
Wesley Sparks Georgia is just better, I knew that coming in. I’m glad they were able to keep it close for a while, but when you have 3 turnovers and some missed opportunity, it’s hard to win
UGA didn't really capitalize on the turnovers.
Georgia just had more gas in the tank, them gators just couldn’t put the game together in the last quarter.
Turn overs were not good either.
I hate both teams but really look forward to watching this game each and every year.

Regarding the goal line stand. Continuing to do the same thing and expecting different results is the definition of that insanity. Crazy not to try a pass in the end zone with 9 seconds left in the half.
They did it on purpose saying we are gonna run and ur not gonna stop it bc we are better and bigger but in that case Florida won that battle but u have to stick to ur game plan even if it doesn't work out sometimes that's why uga won stuck to their plan and played a complete game
It's sucks that my Gators Lost. But that goal line stand was godly tho if Florida won the Game that would have been the highlight of the game.

The Tide was lucky last year pulling off the NC, but UGA is creeping up on them and will be winning several sooner or later because you can't be that lucky every year, and Alabama is going to be facing Georgia a lot in the coming years and the Dawgs can and will beat them because I know that Smart is committed to doing that. I'd be willing to bet that Coach Smart is saving some secret weapons to use when UGA does get to the SEC championship game and that just might be Mr. Fields. :-)
