The beautiful wooden church in Bumbuia, (Biserica de lemn din Bumbuia)

The old wooden church from Bumbuia was attested around 1810 with the patron saint "St. Nicholas" and 62 families. After the construction of the new wall church of the village, it was abandoned, reaching an advanced state of degradation in 1980. In 2005, work began to restore the walls of the nave, with a bell tower on the porch, preserving the stone foundation of the old church. The work was carried out with community funds. Traditional details and modern materials were used for the joints of the wooden structure of the church. Made of bard, the foot of the throne is made up of two octagonal pyramid trunks, joined at the tops and fastened with a twisted chain.
