Chaos max is really strong as a card, but sometimes it can make you brick .. for chaos max you need a dark magician and another spellcaster to summon it, plus a tribute to activate the effect. With magician of chaos it's a whole other story! you only need a magician and you don't need to pay anything to activate the effect, which is very strong! Magician of chaos creates an incredible game control situation(each turn destroy one card on the field) and you can summon it as you wish with eternal soul!
New sub! Keep up the good work! Some thoughts: * Magician of Chaos is once per copy, so if summoned back, it can trigger again. I abuse the Fusion by destroying it with chaos and tributing him for rod, so it then special summons back, adds rod to hand, triggers circle and can again pop a card. Its much better to banish galatea than destroy it. * With the exception of Magician Souls, all other new cards are NOT HARD ONCE PER TURN. * Combination deserves a second spot (I cut 1 eternal). It protects the deck even from eternal, can be chained to a stray phoenix or twin to pop a card, and on the following turn it can provide a draw+pop with souls. Having 2 lets you stay on DM and not girl, also triggering a circle. *I don't like allure in this deck. Somehow it always screws me and most of the times I cannot set the draws with Circle. *Foolish burial provides 1/2 of DM/DMG combo or even a Chaos to hand, as illusion can add it from GY. You can also set up a rod for next turn if you don't open it. * I play 3 inheritance and spell book organization in the place of allures making Crowley more likely to resolve, also it works with the fusion setting the card of your choice, also providing an easy spell for inheritance. If only it was "Dark Magic Fusion" instead of secrets.... or it could ritual from grave. The deck would be so much better Im trying a Spell book variant of the deck, when I have some results I will update you.

I totally agree with you. I wish Black Chaos Max is a 7 stars monster and becomes DM when on the field or in the GY, now it's really hard to utilize his effect
@@millenniumforce3271 Just as an idea, you could use Eternal soul during the opponent's standby phase to activate magician of chaos to make it destroy itself, then summon a DM. When that happens, summon chaos Max. Just an idea. But yeah, Dark Magician has so many "coulda, woulda, shoulda" things. Especially since I kind of wish Dark Magic secrets would have let you search and/or activate eye of timaeus because that new Red eyed DM fusion looks very good.

Is this version more a going second deck? Because in your video, all but one game was going second. What's the main goal of the deck. First and control or second and OTK. Because you did both with it. Usually, DM is control and really wants to go first, but this build seems to also do fine second. What should I aim for is I win the dice roll?
if you win the dice, I suggest you to go first. This deck is very versatile but it's better to go first.. in this case I use instant fusion to summon millennium eyes restrict, in order to negate the handtraps. I put more videos where I go second because is the most uncomfortable situation for the dark magician.. So you can see how to play in those cases!
Very good !! The best I have seen .. but what happens if u allure and have to banish dark magician girl ? You get lots of dead cars ( min 3) and if you play 10 games what’s win ratio please ! Your videos are great btw
@@RNO33 You can also use allure of darkness very well with the dark magician, because you can use the dark magical circle, you put the cards as you want, and then activate the allure of darkness, and you are sure of what you will draw and banish! Thank you very much for the compliments ..

Next we need a dark magician monster searcher that searches 2 monsters with dark magician in it's text and or a level 8 or lower dark spellcaster ritual monster, that would be the frightfur patchwork of dark magician
It could be a huge boost for dm especially with the new support but we may be asking for a bit too much What we really need is the lv6 dark magician girl xyz from the ocg and either a way to search the eye of timaeus or magician of black chaos max
@@jimtsap04 I don't think it's asking for too much because dark magician needs three or four cards to do anything and even then it dies when eternal soul does. Even if it got this dream card it still wouldn't be competitive.
@@Crinklygoose154 You are probably right but when I said it was asking for a bit too much I didn't mean asking for too good of a card I meant it was asking for two much support especially after the new wave of support (I basically think that we probably have wait quite some time before we get even more support)
I think the new support might be a card to help get the dragon and warrior fusions out, because I don't see them making a fusion with a dragon or a warrior being utterly useless now
To summon chalice dragon Just a dark magician (because it's a normal monster). in doing so we have a dragon that we can use as a casting material with a dark magician, summon so the dragon knight
Is the new fusion’s effect to summon a dark magician and dark magician girl when it is removed by an opponent’s effect? That guy used Thousand Eyes Restrict on it and it summoned them but I thought it had to be destroyed by battle or card effect?
I believe that thousand eye, taking my fusion, transforms my monster into a spell and trap, and in doing so, when it puts kuribo, my monster is 'Destroyed' by activating this effect

Oh and I get why you did remove Magician of Black Chaos MAX! It required too many resources to SS on opponent turn (2 monsters to ritual summon and 1 more for tributing)
