Russ to the Knicks is the only trade that kinda makes sense. They could match salary through Fournier, Noel, Kemba and Knox. Knox is trash, Kemba hasn't even been playing for them until the recent covid outbreak, Fournier contract isn't looking to great moving forward and Noel is a solid backup big but worth moving for Russ. The Knicks would probably get DeAndre Jordan, Malik monk and Kent bazemore along with Russ.

And we’ve seen Russ take replacement level players to the playoffs before…he couldn’t dig them out of the hole they’re in this year but maybe next?

@@siddharthgundala7333 uhm, with a rebuild, you need those big contracts. That way, if you have Russ and can pair him with a trade piece, they could potentially get a true superstar. The Lakers want players that don’t get injured as often and The Pacers are perfect for sellers

The pacers would be looking to trade for picks or young talent they can easily develop. If they trade for Westbrook or AD they would demand an immediate trade cause why would they want to be on a team that wants to tank
