Been waiting for this exact video. Having just purchased T100S in January and absolutely loving them, I was curious how the 150 performs in comparison bc they look beautiful. The numbers were about like I figured; tough to improve too much on the 100S as they are amazing irons.
For sure -- the T100S is definitely a rock solid iron and has been popular in our fittings. We think Titleist made the adjustment to T150 to hit a wider range of golfers and separate the T100 and T100S just a little bit, which we think they accomplished.
Sorry to tell you but there is a noticeable difference. Better feel better spin and height. I’ve played the 100s and didn’t like it and went back to T100. Got fitted by Titleist and 150s were no brainer.
In an upcoming video that we've already filmed, we did some testing with lie angle and also realized Michael should be in an upright lie angle (likely 2 degrees upright). Since we do these tests in a standard lie angle, he'll tend to miss right of center most of the time.
For me the t100 seems to be what most are after from a look and feel pov…..but love the additional forgiveness of t100s. If you can’t hit the t100 then the S really isn’t really for you. T150 makes a a small bit easier but still kinda splitting hairs. I’m not a great golfer (9hcp) but just prefer the turf interaction of a smaller iron and the less offset takes out some of the left miss. SIM numbers really don’t matter if you don’t hit the ball on grass well. To me turf interaction rules roost. The more “forgiveness” I put in the iron the more left it goes….and more fat-ish on avg.
This is a really great review. Can someone educate me on why total with iron matters at all? In the real world if you hit the green it’s going to stop around your carry number. The difference between carry and total were like 10 yds. No way would I factor total distance when my ball maybe moves 5 feet max from my divot.
You cannot be 1.6 mph difference in average club head speed, and then start drawing conclusions about differences. This is useless data. It is not testing the clubs, it is showing an inconsistent swing.
Nice presentation. As I skip through, I wish the charts would show club and face degree. For example: 13:39.
Noted, thanks for watching and for the feedback. We'll add that club and face data for future comparison we film

I need a 4 iron! Got a set of 100S with a 200 4 iron.HATED the 200! Got rid of it. Maybe gonna look at a 150 4 iron?
Have been looking forward to this comparison
Give the guy the t350 he can’t hit the fairway with a 7 iron!
Lol
How tall is he? Too tall for standard clubs causing push/slice?

T100S Baby!!!! Awesome Irons !!!
Oh yeah!
Where are you guys located?
Indoor launch screen target can confuse the eye line visuals.
Unfortunately that ball striking didn’t tell us anything
Surprised the channel now has this woodchopper doing the videos. Pointless comparison when the swings and strikes are attrocious.

Several tour pros playing T100s and T150. And hairspray calls it a cheaters iron. Damn dude
Don’t Titleist say theT150s are more like AP2s? Any possibility of a video comparison?
AP2 714

Where’s Thomas gone. With TXG falling apart you guys were the go to. This is not the same..
Try Elite Performance Golf Studios
TXG still going.... is just now club champion
That me on a simulator lol. Can’t hit straight for sh!t lol.
A lot of cuts in that filming. Dude was talking about “cheaters” I think he was talking about himself 😂

All these people bashing. But would likely have worse results if you put them in for a fitting.
Not 1 draw 😅
