I would listen to Jean Sheppard on WOR-710 AM at 9:15 at night...he would spin stories for 45 minutes, I especially like his descriptions of what he would call "slob art"....
There was radio producer who plays Gene Shepard on WBAI 99.5 in New York as his tribute to classic radio. He used to play Gene Shepard on early Tuesday morning around 5am. I don"t know if he is still with the station today.
