Sheesh it’s so time consuming, and takes a ton of patience, taking the panel on and off over and over until it’s perfect. I didn’t video most of the fitment process because it’s so boring.
Yea man! It’s not easy keeping up with filming and editing but I enjoy it for the most part. I think YT likes more consistent and frequent posting to grow, but I do what I can.
Man Brandon I am amazed how good you are getting at doing this kind of work. I know in the beginning you had very little experience and now you are looking like a total pro...excellent work. Like the use of panel adhesive on those seams. really keeps the rust out.
I appreciate the encouraging comment Mike! Like you said, when I started and didn’t know anything just getting better as I learn new techniques. Your channel was a huge inspiration for me to start this project, so thank you, I hope to run into you one day at a show.
Great video and forward progress 😊 Interesting mix of parts - early hatch and engine lid with later push button latches and early corner panels with later taillights. Going to be a really nice bus! 👍
The Brazilian busses came from the factory with a mix up parts from earlier years, this one was technically built in 73 but looks more like a German 63. Ive also replaced so much with aftermarket metal it’s difficult to tell what year or country it’s from.
Just a short video, but I hate to think how much time it would have taken to do the preparation of all those panels. And what a tedious but essential task. Thanks again for the video and best wishes.
Hello Brandon, very good job! I linke your work and way to solve the problems! You did the same as I was need to do on the rear. My motivation was not rust, but change to corner with window.😁 Hope to see soon the next EP. BR EllJott
Well done bloke. The thought and effort you are putting into rust removal and prevention would many a professional. Factory. ‘We’ll spot weld this on’ Brandon. ‘I’ll glue and screw it. And weld it. Possibly rivet it later on too’ That bus ain’t never coming, or rusting apart again….
Hahaha it’s true, I’m obsessed with corrosion resistance and the panel bond glue is amazing at that plus it can be pinch welded thru so it seemed like the best way to go.
Looking good mate, how good are the celcos :) I'll be using a heap on the front end soon. Are you going to keep all the Brazilian parts or go German looking?
For sure, I didn’t film a lot of the fitment process because it’s boring and very time consuming. I’ve tried most, if not all the replacement companies and BBT fits without as many modifications as other brands.
@@BrandonsBus OK, I completely understand that. Maybe soon you'll find an Old Florida homeplace nestled in the woods of Myakka City 😲! I really enjoy your work Sir, carry on.
@@BrandonsBus, just think when get old like you rebuild it again only you'll have more hours in the day to work on but you'll be more tired and a bit more lazy. LoL 😆.
It will be built better than it was Brazilian , nice work you can tell you know what you are doing..
Thanks for the comment! I’ve really worked hard to develop my skills on this project, before this I knew nothing of restoration work.
A thing of beauty Brandon that will out survive a lot of us watching your repairs 👍🏻🏴
She is a beauty! Hopefully will last for my children to drive.
Love watching your content Brandon from over here in the UK. You're such an awesome perfectionist. Thank you 👍
Definitely a perfectionist, it’s a gift and a curse.
damn good job! No one really understands the prep that is required for each panel, and the amount of alignment and welding that goes into it.
Sheesh it’s so time consuming, and takes a ton of patience, taking the panel on and off over and over until it’s perfect. I didn’t video most of the fitment process because it’s so boring.
I do soooo look forward to these updates!😊
I so appreciate you following along!
Parabéns, excelente trabalho de restauração.
Thank you!
This is looking Amazing, thanks for continuing to share your progress!

Nice work it's coming along nicely
Sure is!
Your doing an awesome job Brandon.
Thank you 🙏🏼
Immaculate, precision, and , accuracy like no other.
Amazing job! Felt tired just watching all that prep work!
Prep work really takes so much time, but anytime I’ve rushed prep I’ve always regretted it!
Amazing work. I am highly impressed . Can’t wait for primer and paint to go on
Primer over the whole thing is going to be glorious
Good stuff man. Now I'm headed out to the garage to work on my project. Thanks for the motivation.
That’s what it’s all about…🙏🏼
Hi Brandon,Great work👏👍🏻 she comes nicly together better then ever🌞,Greetings.Hubertus 🙏🏻🇳🇴🇳🇱☮👍🏻

Prep work and fitment are very time consuming! Thankfully I have the patience for it, I do really enjoy the work as well. Thank for the comment!

Nicely done!!
So far so good!
Looking good mate, how good are the celcos :) I'll be using a heap on the front end soon. Are you going to keep all the Brazilian parts or go German looking?
It’ll be mostly fitted with replacement parts, almost more than original metal! I got rid of the pressed emblem nose and went with the German style.
@@BrandonsBus Good move, will be worth way more down the track too with all the new metal ;).
Amazing work!
Brilliant work man great figment of the panels. Love your work as always. 👌👌
Fitment is tough, it’s soooo time consuming. Thankfully BBT metal is really close, so I don’t have to make a bunch of modifications.
Magnifique travail, bravo 👍
thxs for sharing, your skills are very impressive...
Thank you! Any skills that I have learned have come from this project, I knew nothing before I started!
So much f %£*ing work man!!!
I greatly appreciate your dedication
Seriously, tremendous
I appreciate the comment! This encouragement really helps me keep going
BETTER THAN NEW
Yesssss!
I bet fitting everything took a lot of time and patience . Looks really good .
How is the quality of the repo pieces?

Nice job man! Looks good 👍
Parabéns, trabalho fantástico brother 😎✌🏼
Thank you! 🙏🏼
Awesome. What’s the epoxy that you’re using? Interesting that you can spot weld through it?
I think it's type of weld true primer
3m panel bond, it says in the instructions it can be pinch welded during the first 90 minutes.
You can only spot weld while it is wet, it is pretty cool.
You moved. I noticed different surroundings in your last video. I hope the change goes well for you and the family.
We did move! I remodel and sell homes in the south Florida area so we don’t usually stay in one place for long if the market is profitable.

Muy muy bueno 👌
Gracias 🙏🏼
Just to let you know, I'm waiting for the next video
Hahaha I love it! Hopefully I’ll have the new video out this weekend!
Spectacular job as always. But now tell the truth, how many days labor in 8 minutes.
This video is about 30 hours of work stretched out over 4 weeks, I usually work on the bus 1-2 hours a day.
@@BrandonsBus, just think when get old like you rebuild it again only you'll have more hours in the day to work on but you'll be more tired and a bit more lazy. LoL 😆.
Insane job!
Btw; are you working in socks?
Is your garage cleaner than my flat? 😮
Hahaha you caught me, sometimes I forget shoes 😂 I do keep my garage pretty clean tho!
Привет, двигатель будешь устанавливать новый или тоже будешь восстанавливать?
Good question! I have the original engine that needs restored, but I’d like to put a Subaru boxer engine in when I’m all done.
