I think the poster is so misleading; wrong century and not a talk show. I don't know anything about the author so I caan't comment on the quality of the play. Leslie Howard was terrific, as usual.

Certainly well acted however not exactly a “fun” story - if as advised by Mark Twain - authors should write what they know - the author of this play was indeed in a very dark place.
