@ChannelFireball Swear y'all copied Andrea Mengucci's thumbnail format with this one lolol. Can't blame y'all though, I've never seen Reid pog out like that :P
Great gameplay, editing kinda off though. Cut out some sideboarding decisions and the fast forwarding looks weird (also brief chipmunk Reid as mentioned)
Appreciate trying the stuff out, but yeah the fast forwarding was not something I would like more of in the future videos, at least for Reid. Some time to process between decisions and really savor the game unfolding is what I find most pleasurable, just how cerebral Reid's play and commentary is needs some space for the rest of us to catch up
Fun video! I prefer your unedited content more though. The speed up was a bit jarring and i like to ponder what the opponent may be about to play during the downtime rather than skipping right to it.
@@ChannelFireball you can just try it this way for a bit and then look at the metrics? I'm wondering if the established viewers of the channel already like the slower versions but possibly speeding it up will attract more new viewers over time? I don't know but that would be visible in the analytics after a while.
My feedback would be: pick either fast-forward or skip-forward and do only one of them in a single video. So that as a user I know what to expect if I'm fast-forwarding myself or watching just pieces of the video
Yes, I'd like to second this. I also found the fast forwarding through Reid's key presses really jarring, possibly because I'm autistic. I appreciate what you were going for with the editing, but TH-cam already has a fast forward option for those who wish to use it. I do appreciate the content, though. :)
@@ChannelFireball Thanks for the response! I do appreciate the idea and it helps cut out dead space/makes the video more watchable. But maybe there is some happy medium amount of fast forwarding.
I appreciate the thought behind editing the video to cut out the downtime, but I always find it odd and disorienting at best, and in this case it was jarringly done.
Agreed. We need serious articles. At least for the people who pay for a ChannelFireball subscription. Instead, we just get whatever Reid happens to be interested in. Stupid nonsense like Natural Order in Vintage and months without Standard Content like we saw earlier this year.
@@parazightsporch2523 check out Iamactuallylvl1 his vintage content is excellent and he plays a wide variety of decks, most prolific vintage content creator of you're looking for solid stuff
Man, editing out the downtime is very very distracting and makes this nearly unwatchable. Please don't continue this in the future. But thanks for the videos, watching Reid is always great. Love the slow pace!
Fast forward just through silences is best for me! First time ever manage to watch a Reid video, because the long silences on intense matches turned me off. Loved it, Reid insights are so well put
I love love love the content you guys put out, but i really wish you wouldn't succumb to the memeification of content like that thumbnail and others as of late. It's so soul-sucking, honestly.
good to see CFB, taking a different thumbnail posting style and what a great way to start it with the recent PT champ. nice vid
Clicked just because of the Thumbnail. Bravo.
It's all coming together

@@KilljoysDrummer17 idk if cgb started it but he was the first streamer I’ve seen do that style of thumbnail
love the accidental Chipmunk Reid at 16:45! haha
Chipmunk Reid best Reid
41:54 This whole thought process and eventual payoff is why Reid is a world champ.
Incredible, thanks for pointing it out. I went back and checked it again, so much depth into those multiple combined decisions
Great gameplay, editing kinda off though. Cut out some sideboarding decisions and the fast forwarding looks weird (also brief chipmunk Reid as mentioned)
We're working on getting the balance right for next video, thanks for the feedback!

I gotta say, I love Reid’s videos with all the explaining. This was way too much editing for me. Love Reid’s content!!!
Fun video!

agree
agree as well. it was weirdly comical, maybe this was the intention, but some phrases seemed out of place due to the fast forwarding.
Appreciate the feedback, we're trying a few new things out so it's really helpful

The editing is really disorienting. Listening to reid patiently think through his lines in prior videos is a treat
Yay for Vintage! Would be improved by less fast forwarding though, specifically when Reid is talking.
Noted, thanks for the feedback

Working on improving that, thanks!
The fast forwarding through silent moments was a nice touch.
man all this 1.5x speed or whatever is funny with Chip and Dale Reid but at times makes it hard to follow
R-R-R-Reid and, uh, Luis, Magic Rangers!
LMAO, who designed that thumbnail it's so dumb. I love it
Thanks for your feedback, we'll share it with the crack team of graphic designers who work hard to make Reid look so good
@@ChannelFireball you never have to work at all to make Reid like good
Great read (Reid?) on the tinker there!
It's another awesome Reid vid, but I should play an oath deck before natural order, right?
Yes oath is much better

Hurray!
What a read 🔥 (44:04)
Great new thumbnail format!
Should keep some sort of framing to maintain brand visual identity, however minimalist
Thanks for the feedback!
not a fan of the tiktok jumpcuts, sorry! I'll take Reid as he is :).
So no tiktok dances either?
@@ChannelFireball if by dancing, you mean Reid dancing around his opponent ;)
The Reid on that tinker was *chefs kiss*
Idk why but I love watchin Reid, his videos are so calming...
We're secretly a Reid Duke ASMR channel
Someone's having fun making thumbnails... 😂
Reid MADE US, I swear.
@@ChannelFireball well, he's the best!!
16:46 “ALLRIGHT”
As much as I love Jund I'm happy seeing Reid try something new :) especially a brew!!!
The high speed "yup" at 37:22 was the best part of the sporadic speed-ups
31:38 yes duke oko is more stupid. (Getting flashbacks my whole being a 3/3 elk) . Anyways great video and even greater thumbnail😂
good stuff, loving the vintage spicyness!
This really resembles a vintage cube deck lol
15:00 Holy shit 😆
Third game I’ve seen today where pithing needle on wasteland happened and other player immediately drew wasteland.
These thumbnails are how I click on videos. I was gonna do it anyway with reid, but you get the idea.
I keep getting baited into clicking on various "[cool player] plays Atraxa in [old format/interesting deck]" and finally got paid off!
This thumbnail was inspired by mengu and I'm here for it!
16:45 strangest I've ever heard
VINTAGE HYPEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
Sweet deck
you had me at Natural Order
You had me at you
Yay for Vintage!
Reid playing vintage is spicy!! 47:25 no consideration for misstep the mana vault?
I HOPE SO!
I personally liked the editing :) Good stuff.
lil what's up with these Reid thumbnails?! 😂 they are hilarious!
Nice vid
Loved the increased pace and editing. Think It is worth it to minimise the Alvin effect via some more editing. Thanks
nice thumbnail, and thanks for editing.
Why wouldn’t you mental misstep the mana vault? Seems like an odd choice not to do that.
The Mana Vault could have been bait for a higher value spell like Ancestral Recall.
The DUKE 🤴🏻
reid duke can do everything.
Hoping he can clean my house in that case

Why did reid paint his body green?
He's joined a spinoff of the blue man group
There's not many ways to come back from a turn 1 oko lol
MORE VINTAGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
oh, yeehaw
oh no. cfb surrendered to the stupid thumbnails. but it´s reid so surely good content.
We're just keeping Reid humble
Fast forward mode activated!
Reid said he saw Sonic the Hedgehog and wanted to be more like him, true story
I am not a fan of this type of editing....
Lol.
For the love of God, please go back to the old thumbnails.
