    It's not the reckless English nationalists who lead the Tories who worry about losing Scotland's resources, it's the British Establishment. The former cannot completely ignore the latter.

    Perfectly reasonable reply from Raab. What would Scotland do without those English subsidies flowing in to keep that oil and gas coming out of the ground and those water factories running? And to whom would they sell the fruits of their labour, being that England is their largest customer by a country mile?

      Largest and nearest. This really is a case of "they (the English) need us (the Scottish) much more than we need them" and not that lame lie they sold us down the Brexshit river with.

    Well, the only real assumption one should make about the statement is that it is a lie. No point in thinking anything else about it.

    Yerrible answer, but also those resources would not make the people of Scotland better of than now minus the billions in cash from England each year.... oooor would it? Any economists out there with a sturdy answer?

  • @deehaytch8442

    Those resources, well the majority are not actually owned by Scotland.
    do you believe your house is owned by Scotland?? and can be rented out with you in it?

    I think what he meant was' Whatever you do, keep the SNP from squandering it all on free prescriptions and bridge tolls'

    • @damarekonayaro5781

      SNP have been effectively governing Scotland for some time which belies the myth that any non Tory party is by default fiscally irresponsible. Contrast this with the Tory corruption, cryonics and waste with PPE contracts ( £6 billion squandered and the debacle of Track and Trace (some more billions.) This is a high tax, highly corrupt and shambolic Tory administration the SNP would have to work very hard to be worse.

    • @daveabbott
      @daveabbott 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@damarekonayaro5781 Define 'effectively governing Scotland' please, because there is a huge list of failures that the SNP have been in charge of over the last 15 years or so, virtually everything that thay involve themselves in turns to a steaming pile of horse droppings. And if the tory government is high tax, that makes the SNP higher tax. Natalie McGarry the embezzeler, glass houses!
