The "Graffiti Bridge" sound track was excellent. Some of my favorite tracks: Melody Cool, Round And Round, We Can Funk, Love Machine, Thieves In The Temple.
0:42 I am enjoying so much these podcasts. Thank you for sharing! I cannot stop listening to the amazing stories about all these persons who worked with or were connected to Prince. Such a talents, so intelligent, inspiring people. They were all so young when they joined the purple world for a while. I hope once I can travel to Paisley Park and experience the atmosphere there and the 🎶 environment of this genius musician. Prince. In psychological way he puzzled me a lot concert also in Paisley Park. Minneapolis
I do enjoy hearing the stories about Prince but Apollonia’s podcast seems a little slow moving. I wish it had more excitement with some music 💜💜 I did enjoy hearing the story of Lady Cab Driver. I love the 1999 album! ❤️💜💜
Prince just wanted a woman he could control and in the process wasted Jill's time and opportunity. He never did anything with her musically becuz he probably didnt think she had "it". But then Prince's protégé record isnt exactly the best. His biggest most successful protégé is STILL Sheila E. Pretty much every female act he tried to develop never amounted to much. Bria Valente is still MIA....Anyone remember Carmen Electra?? yeah she was his foray into rap/hiphop..lol..Ingrid Chavez, Rosie Gaines, Taja Sevelle...all misses and no mainstream hits...not like Sheila.
@@nic-tv4090 Agreed. However. Rosie Gaines is still the best vocalist of them all. She could sing circles around even today's so-called best female pop or r&b singers.
Yeah, I don't know if I'd go that far. Sure, his musical output wasn't as innovative as the decade before, but there were a lot of moments that proved that Prince could still deliver the goods. Especially on his own terms, for better or for worse.

Prince sent Kim B. Home because he didn't like her wrinkly knees!!! Lmao
She called Prince, "Alec". When asked what she said, she referred to "Alexander O'Neal", and that just made the situation even worse. 🤣
for real?
she realy left at the right time, what prince did in the 90s apart from his live performances just wasnt good.
Late 90s after the love album when Prince battle with warner bros is when it went south... Diamonds and pearls was amazing
