i bought my FG700 SB (sand burst) back somewhere around 2010...??? I have played that guitar alot over the years. i took my in to a guitar shop and had them replace the bridge saddle and neck nut with Tusq, also swapped out the plastic bridge pins for ebony ones. Those couple of small upgrades with will open this guitar up and let it sing. Im definitely a Yamaha fan for life. Currently been looking at the FGX5. i want it.
Great review! You got me interested in one of these. I like to try different acoustic guitars out especially the lower price ones. Just ordered one in great shape. It was made same year and month as yours. OH! You still have it. Being 11 years old the top should be aged enough to give a sweet sound. Yours sure does. Bought the new fg830. It’s a fine sounding guitar and craftsmanship is as good as it gets on any brand or cost. Drop me a line when you have time. Jeff Clark from Rockdale Texas. Thanks again for your review
@@jamesmacdon9351 Good to know. I played a used FG800M this afternoon. It was in really good shape and I preferred playing it to the Martins and Norman that he also had. He wouldn't go lower than $250CAD so I told my father in law to just go pick up the brand new one at the local L&M for $299. This guy had about 20 dreadnaughts.. most were worth well over $1000 and but he couldn't let us walk out of there with the FG800 for $225 lol. Yeah, they're pretty dang good guitars for the money. Buddy couldn't let it go haha.
Just what I am looking for. I shall try and find one here in England. Thanks. Excellent demo.
Nice review. Love mine.

Awesome and thank you !!
Oddly enough, my FG720S was made literally the day before yours lol
Как узнать год выпуска? У моей fg720s на внутренней стороне передней дэки есть такие цифры 001023.это как понять 2000 год?
whats names of strings u have on it i want too get a set
Elixir Nanoweb 80/20 lights.
So is it a 720S like the video description or a 700s which you overlayed on the video at the start of the video?
My bad ! It is a 700S. I will try and fix that. Thank you for noticing. Can’t believe I did not notice that…lol
Fixed. Thanks again.
