Summer skiing in the the actual summer is such a vibe, though sometimes it is a bit difficult to actually get to your line. I skied all summer this year.

Did a three-day trip to Austria’s Hintertux Glacier in late May. Lucked out with the conditions, as it snowed a foot and a half my first day there, leading to some incredible conditions the next two days.

Yes, specially if you want to continue to progress. Timberline has an amazing summer park set up! Yes! Timberline just got 8 inches the week of June 14th 2024.

New Zealand Chile and Argentina are all open this NH summer😂 Oh and Australia. It is snowing in the mountains today and they make plenty. I think Perisher Hotham and Falls are on the Epic pass⛷️⛷️⛷️

hey man, if you ever get the chance please come ski down in new zealand. we have 5 major ski areas with 4 of those located in driving distance from eachother. Something unique about skiing in NZ is the lack of trees, this means that there is alot more oppertunity to ski off-piste and along with the incredible views its a pretty cool thing to do.

Don’t forget about skiing in the Southern Hemisphere. Australia and New Zealand offer skiing from June to October in most years as do Chile and Argentina. I live in Australia and we have 5 main resorts in Perisher and Thredbo in NSW and Mt Hotham, Falls Creek and Mt Buller in Victoria. Perisher has a area of 1245 acres and 47 lifts across 4 mountains. Thredbo has the longest trail at 5.9km with a vertical drop of 672m. Whilst you don’t get deep powder snow, it’s a real experience skiing through snow gum trees and I’ve seen kangaroos, wombats and echidnas hopping or waking along the trails at Perisher over the years. New Zealand can be great as well but I’ve found to be a bit more temperamental. In their best years, NZ skiing is heaps better than Australia particularly in snow quality around the Lake Wanaka resorts and in Canterbury but in average or bad years, I reckon Australian skiing is better and is certainly better developed in terms of resort size and facilities.

Fair point! We're trying to get some Australia footage this summer and will hopefully have some vids up from the SH soon (if not this season, next for sure)!

@@PeakRankings that would be amazing. I’d love to see you takes on Aussie skiing. Been watching your vids for a while now and it’s really helped my family figure out where we are heading skiing in North America. Saw some stickers of yours at Big White when we were there in Feb so hopefully a video from there is coming at some point. Keen up the excellent work.
