- Recently, I worked on this song, and was suddenly told that Animenz was also working on this song. It was a crazy coincidence because Departures is an very very old song and we almost finished it at the same time! I told him and we exchanged our sheet and shared our advice. I felt very excited that Animenz was interested in my sheet. He practiced my sheet when he practiced his.lol. Btw, he stayed up late at that night..P.S. This song should have been included in my supercell album and published with other songs, but I don’t want to blow this unique opportunity. So I decide to pose it with Animenz at the same time. Notice that both Animenz and I made Brave Shine arrangement but he did it later than me. Many of my friends said that our arrangements are similar…Actually, I did not feel any strange because I was copying his style at that time. Also maybe he was somehow influenced by my arrangement. However, we are both clean this time. Please enjoy two different arrangement of one song! hahaha

There are many interesting left hand scales in your arrangement, (especially at the second verse) and I also like how you carefully planned the dynamics (for example at 2:59, make use of high notes only in pp)
Although I am still not sure about some of the chords (1:17, 3:21), it does flow quite well once you're actually playing it (as you have mentioned before)
I see many interesting ideas in your sheet, but I think you can develop them more "organic". For example the fast run starting in 3:26, you could have use it again in a later part of your final chorus.
Whenever I have an idea (usually a secondary melody) to add in my arrangement, I try to make a good transition for it.
For example: someone has asked me: why did I add an extra bar in my arrangement at the end of the first chorus (bar 29): because i wanted to "introduce" the right hand arpeggios for the second verse.
If I wouldn't have added the additional bar, it would have appeared too "sudden" - but then again, that's my own preference of music - by developing everything in a "natural" way.
Either way, you did a great job here on departures and I am looking forward to see how you will develop in the future arrangements! (and eventually find your own "PaRaD1SE"- style)
Wow! Currently the LONGEST comment of you on all my video! Yes, when I finished recording and listened it 2 or 3 times, I found that fast run come just one time seemed not "reasonable". Actually, I did not seriously think about the balance of the whole sheet, just ...eg. comes an idea, write down and go on and finish..

Despite his channel being so big, Animenz is still down to earth and caring about others. He's not arrogant at all, although he has actual reason to be.
When comparing this to Animenz arrangement, I must say that your cover is beautiful! I'm a huge fan of Animenz (I mean, I have "Piano Sheets" in my username...) and I admire his skills, but you're incredibly skilled too, I can really learn from you both! :)

Thanks. Well, personally I do not want him to mix jazz, pop, and classic at different section in one song because the hard style change can't be easily accepted. If he really want to mix them, it would be better to put them together at every part of the song.
