I've just last week returned to London from Sydney staying in the same hotel. I'm also a Hilton Honours Diamond member so enjoyed the executive lounge! I was located on the 41st floor to but the room at the end of the corridor facing the Westfield tower so I has one extra window on the side of the TV because I was at the end. It's great to see such an in depth video that portrays how wonderful this hotel is :)
Thank you Eddie, for the extensive video. The Hilton Sydney rooms are indeed micro-sized and the smallest rooms by far in any 5 star hotel I've ever stayed in. Hilton had the chance during the full renovation in the early 2000's to make the rooms a competitive size by combing two rooms into one but didn't do it. The bathrooms, you can't even turn around in. Even the lobby is too small. The lounge has cheap food, cheap drinks and everything is serve yourself. No barista-made coffee. Cheap delivery, high price. Much better value can be found elsewhere.
You're welcome James. I appreciate your view and comment on my VLOG. Your observations are indeed correct - many people have found them to have a monopoly for too long being the only Hilton property (excluding Curio) in Sydney. They can get away with murder so to speak with loyal HHonors guests! :s

I haven't stayed at number 1 or 2 before so I can't comment. From what I've heard from others, the Sydney Hilton is overpriced for what they offer. However, I'm part of their Honors program and I'm diamond so I have a preference for the Hilton for the benefits (eg. room upgrades, lounge access, free breakfast, etc.)...so the Sydney Hilton is a no brainer for me. Keep in mind there's also the Curio that's opened up around Darling Hbr.
Love your videos Eddie. Just wanted to ask if your "Partner" was the one who chose the background music. If she did, she may be trying to tell you something. :) J/K
