Where do you find the rubber tho v for the dampener? Is that by Tamiya or I have to go to the hardware store?

Mad Tang May I ask if all your brake settings are 1mm away from the ground? (distance from brake pad and ground are all 1mm) ? I was thinking that all your cars are 165mm, will there be too much brake involved and result in slowing the car?

about 1.2-1.5mm away~~ the brake is a very complicated skill~~ it is very hard to explain how to setup~~ due to depend on track layout... But let me tell u this~~ most of my car have full brake. and I use the "tamiya mini 4wd tape" to control my brake level. I will make a video later to explain how to do it~~

Can you make a video on how and where to put the sponge for the terminal as well??? I see a lot of racer doing that but do not know how and what to use. Thanks

Hi Jonathan. What tool do you use to cut propeller shaft? Can you share how to fabricate damper pole using propeller shaft? From my observation, you use gold colour spacer for plastic roller at bottom of pole and pinion gear at the top. Btw great videos!

Hey Mad Tang, I'm coming back to mini 4wd after a very long (17 year) absence from this (been doing stuff like gundam but started to have interest in this after I found my old pile of mini 4wd (about 9 of them). I'm looking at Chassis's, and i"m just wondering, is there a point in getting like a Super X chassis one when it has a "better" brother like the XX chassis? Thanks! or the TZ-x over the TZ?

Since you have been absence for 17 years, there are a lot of changes in this hobby. If you consider to get start this hobby again~~I best recommend to you, just start with MA chassis. The super XX and TZX are both good chassis, but modern Tamiya mini 4wd, require both chassis (TZX & XX) a very high level skill on modification. due to most of parts on the market do not perfectly fit to both chassis. A lot of modification need to make on TZX and XX

Mad Tang Got it, I'll buy the MA first then, how about the other ones like the Super II, MS, AR and Super FM?

The rear motor chassis or front motor chassis, require a lot of time and skill to work on 4 wheel drive shaft~~ but MA, you dont need to do that.. that is why I recommand you to get start with MA first.. If you really want to do rear motor chassis, I recommend Super II

Mad Tang Thanks once again Mad, I got another question though xD. I live in Canada, and HLJ, HobbySearch, amiami and Bandai Hobby seems to be out on certain things I want, is there a site you would recommend where I can buy them for a good price? THanks!
