The NEW clock rule is BAD for college football

  • The clock will no longer stop after a first down in college football (except for inside of the final two minutes of each half) in an effort to reduce game length. It's fine to try to shorten games, but this is the wrong way to go about it.

    It's less game time to make up for more commercials on tv. Contracts are large and extra revenue is needed.

    It's a horrible new rule. Horrible. The games aren't even shorter. There's just fewer plays and more TV timeouts. It's complete bs. It's not good for anyone, it's ALL about money.
    Edit: it's not good for anyone EXCEPT the people making money off of it.

    So it's gonna be the XFL. I thought the XFL looked like college football with even MORE turnovers.
