Love your analysis! And I really appreciate the isolation of the important parts of the track. I believe the effect that Dany uses might not be delay (although there might be just a hint). To me it sound like old school tremolo. She uses this in Revenant, too. Knowing how her effects battle station works, the tremolo is probably sent to the front of house only. Where the normal guitar sound is sent to both front of house and stage/monitors as a blend. That's what it sounds like. Regardless, it is an AWESOME effect. Gave you a sub. Looking forward to your next analysis.
Thanks for the support! And you know what? On a second listen I think you’re very much right, sounds more like a tremolo instead of a delay. Thanks for catching that! I’m pinning your comment!
The ladies thenselves said the binary code (ones & zeroes) spelled out *F - R - E - E.* The song is about an A.I. (Artificial Intelligence) that longs to be free. You can say this AI is like the character Quorra (Olivia Wilde) from the 2010 Walt Disney film Tron: Legacy. That character wanted to be free from The Grid. For your information. Your CD player that reads physical CD's has recorded binary code of *ONES & ZEROES* that it reads to recreate analog music for us to hear.
He said he was in computer science so in the least he understands that binary and thus hexadecimal are the primary layer of all computing, like all of it. On/Off open/closed yes/no. The Rosetta stone of communicating to machine.
I see on your screen that you have ages at album release. The Error album was released in 2022 but was recorded in 2019 and 2020. So Ale was 14/15. As you have analyzed and commented on before, there are some great bass lines on Error. My brain is struggling to accept what Ale achieved at such a young age.
Great point! It’s always worth noting what you just mentioned. These ladies have been creating, not music, but art since they were kids. Meaningful lyrics, technical musical arrangements, stage presence, perfect timing. They really have it all.
When they RECORDED this song, Dany was 20, Pau was 18, and Ale was 15...it was recorded in New Jersey in Fall 2020...It was written a year before that, before they were signed to the record label...
Why is anyone surprised about the binary code? They are three highly intelligent women. You can see that in every interview and in their lyrics and song structures.
I guess people mostly appreciate the ingenuity and creativity to put this in a song. I mean singing zeros and one's is not that common. Of course we know their abilities and that they have a wide field of interests. I appreciate, that the creator makes these videos with people in mind that may never have heard of them, the song or binary code also. It's like a library of the band.
Excellente análysis como siempre, y excellente tu producción, como siempre. Eres de los mejores reactors que hay de The Warning, enhorabuena y gracias por lo que creas y nos compartes! Saludos desde CDMX.
I'm very impressed by the analysis and the music itself, as soon as I heard the music I researched the code, the band has its merits but there are certainly people from the area helping, great people behind it and also musicians as we hear a lot of instruments that the 3 sisters are not playing, they say they are backtracks but I prefer to think they are musicians. As I said, nothing takes away from the sisters' merit and for me the best band of the current generation and also better than many great bands from the good old days of rock.
Song writing is hard but it would seem to be exponentially harder if you are trying to spell out a word, such as "free" by singing in binary code. Do you know for a fact this was intentional on their part or is it possible this was merely a "cosmic coincidence?" If intentional... it's amazing. If it's a coincidence, it's amazing you came up with it.
I haven't yet seen footage of them talking about the binary code but 99.9% this was intentional. They're so smart that I can imagine them talking about it as in: "oh what if we encode a word in binary?" "How do we sing it though?" "We'll make it work!". And they sure did. #warningarmy, correct me if I'm wrong. Like you, I was also impressed how they made boring binary numbers sound fun to sing with their melodies!
I think they confirmed it was intentional but don't ask me where. They have so many stuff. They said the song is about an AI that wants to be "free". So this would be an epic coincidence otherwise.
Error is an underrated banger. So many cool elements to it, so big kudos's to you and what you did here with it, and breaking it all down as you did. Pau's hard hitting, "Chugga Chugga Chugga Chug" on the snare, will never leave my memory, and an iconic recall, that my brain has branded this band with. SRV has the opening for Voodo Chile, ZZ top has LaGrange, Blues Brothers have the Peter Gun theme, and The Warning has Error. Good company......... in my head at least. 🤣

I'm always impressed with the Warning, but I'm equally impressed with that audio program you have.
Great breakdown. I’m a controls engineer and did the same thing with the zeros and ones 🤘⚡️
such a great detail right? They never cease to amaze.
"So good, so good." ... indeed. Love your dedication and thorough analysis. Nice work!
Much appreciated!
Great analysis!
These sisters are overwhelmingly talented!!
Awesome song about the dangers of the AI!
Viva The Warning!! ⚡⚡⚡
Enormously talented! Even more impressive given how young they are. Viva!
Son muy buenos los análisis que haces, hay muchas cosas que no había notado.

Another great analysis. Very cool to hear the isolated parts. Thanks for spending so much time with these.

Nice work (again).

Great analysis again, bro. What audio program are you using?

Thanks, your Tw content is amazing!.
I appreciate that!
Everyone knows what the binary means. Many people post it in the comments of this song, but I don't think anyone has ever made a video about it.

Great job again!
your edit is 🔥🔥 man, love it❤
Oye.. what is the name of the app that you're using to separate the instruments?
And just because - let's do it in Morse code:
..-. = F
.-. = R
. = E
. = E
lol
