Nearby walking places as said by you, nature birds and the entire area CALM, beyond words.
In Karnataka there are many places to explore.
Konkan route from Mangalore to Goa via Karwar both rail and road will be awesome.
Hubli to Karwar is also nice.
Not travelled yet.

My booking experience with this homestay was disappointing. Unfortunately, they were unable to provide room pictures and were unwilling to guarantee room assignment even after confirming our willingness to pay. They mentioned room allocation was based on a first-come, first-served basis rather than on the basis of bookings made. Overall, this experience was unsatisfactory, and I wouldn't recommend this homestay to others.
Sad to hear this. Strange as well, because we found the people very kind and welcoming.
