I guess it’s because it’s a Hexbug Football Bot and it’s weapon is the flicker used to strike the ball, therefore that’s it’s foot, so Kicking seems like the right verb to describe what it does. At that point it’s about finding a place that alliterates with Kicker and Kettering was the first place I could think of.
