We have nesting hummingbirds every year in our wisteria bush, she usually has 4 tiny little eggs, my German shepherd actually sits for hours guarding that bush he won't let even one bird near it but the hummingbird parents , don't ask me why he's took such a interest in their baby birds , I guess John is their guardian angel 😇
Wow! Fantastic video! Entertaining and educational. I didn't know hummers like sprinkling fountains. Maybe the two hummers who hang around my yard would use it if I made one.
This was so fun to watch! You found the perfect bird bath for the hummers. I have 2 bb's with bubblers in them. Sometimes I think the water is more important than food for our feathered friends ❤❤❤
I have a few in and around my yard. One in particular will buzz by my head to protest my intrusion into his turf. Once I talk to him, though, he calms down and will merely perch and watch me.
That's VERY cool !! Especially for the hummingbirds but I am trying to figure out how the bath is supported. I can't see anything definitive as to the means to which the bath is supported . Anyway I can see that the little creatures are thoroughly enjoying the fountain and the bath , BRAVO !! 😊
I'm happy that you like the bird bath. I made the bowl out of glass that was slumped into a ball mould from Bullseye Glass. I drilled a hole in the bottom of the bowl and mounted it on a 3/4" copper pipe. I used parts from the drip irrigation system sold at Home Depot. I will be selling these but to be honest the cost of making these is high thus the price will be higher than I would like. You could make one if you know someone who has a glass kiln.
You made it??? That's awesome! I want to make a bird bath because a bird book I had said that water will attract birds more than any kind of food. Makes sense.
I'm not sure what you are asking me Penelope. Every summer I feed lots of humming birds and some of them like to play in the bird baths that I keep in my garden.
I can see why one might be concerned but apparently Hummingbirds are buoyant or at least are able to hover above the water. That particular birdbath broke due to a hard freeze a few winters ago so I'll make another one that is not so deep.
Wonderful. The fountain makes this so special to the hummers. Wherever did you find this birdbath? I've seen hummingbirds fly through the spray of lawn sprinklers in Colorado and California.
Hummingbirds are jewels in the sky. 🌈 They are so wonderful birds. Thanks for sharing.🎉

The bird bath is being supported by a 3/4 inch copper pipe. You can see it a little better in this video th-cam.com/video/0vIy1k4gX84/w-d-xo.html

Is this a store bought bath? If so, where can I purchase one? And if you made this, please may I ask how you did it?

Can you share how you made this possible?

What is the manufacture name of that birdbath-fountain and where can it be purchased?
The birdbath is slumped glass project that I made as an experiment so it's not available for purchase.
Thank you for your response and I urge you to put your slumped glass birdbath fountain into production immediately! @@JAHarrell46
If you don't mind, please reveal location of your wonderful video.@@JAHarrell46
Shower and a bath
Where is this please
Pie Town, New Mexico, USA
The bath seems too deep, the little bird could drown in there! Maybe if it were just 1 or 2 centimeters deep?

@@JAHarrell46 Hummingbirds are the coolest little birds! Such amazing engineeering and design of their tiny bodies.
Those are definitely not Costas. Costas hate water.
What a great fountain. Looks to be suspended in midair
