Gabe and Chad, I am a long time viewer and subbie, before you had children. I am making some practical suggestions from my heart of love for you. A Sunday after church house reset: 1. Chad and Rae select five school outfits (down to underwear, hair decor, etc.) and hang them up in the front of their closets...include shoe choices. 2. Before family night movie viewing, children must shower/bathe, dress in pj's before movie starts. Now, if the movie runs over, children are already dressed for bed and their clothes are prepped for the next day. If these suggestions are not a blessing to you, DROP kick them far away.:-) Than you kindly for your consideration :-)

Hearing that your spirometry was normal makes me think that you need further testing. The allergy test is a good start, but I think having a full PFT with a pre and post bronchodilator would be a good idea as well.
I work in sleep medicine. You don't have to be overweight to have sleep apnea. Skinny ppl, babies and children can have it. Being overweight does effect a lot of stuff medically though. Many overweight ppl also may NOT have sleep apnea. We have several CPAP masks to choose from now and it takes about 2 weeks to a month to get used to wearing CPAP. Seems like your allergy got worst when you got that dog. I remember when you and your son were both tested for allergies. That's why, I was so surprised when ya'll got another dog for a pet. Perhaps the children could look into getting a different kind of pet. When you visited your in-laws in Alabama you got sick, probably because you were around two dogs for a few days. Please think about this possibility. Love your family. Stay blessed.
I have allergies too but my cats and my dog are my babies, I don't know any pet owner that would give away their pet for that reason unless it's life threatening, we'd rather take all the allergy medication in the world. Plus she said that the breed(golden minidoodle) is apparently hypoallergenic.
I fully agree, you should get a daily update of Lincoln, especially with him being a young puppy. Text + picture if not a quick video unless the customer said don't bother.
I agree. They should be sending daily updates of him, especially with him being a puppy. It's interesting, all those years with Oscar you only had allergies, but now it has progressed to asthma? Chad senior is so funny talking about bed rest 😂
I was diagnosed with asthma when I was 4. Now I am in my 50s. After cutting way back on dairy, sugar and processed foods (1-2 XS/week), my doctor was able to take me off all my medications. Doesn't work for everyone, but that was a game changer for me. Today I don't experience the symptoms like I used to. I pray that as you go through this journey you will find ways to reduce the inflammation/symptoms and to be comfortable.
I had asthma since birth or at least from a very little girl. I decided to get allergy shots probably 7-8 years ago, and I still don’t need to take asthma meds. Give it a go, also take the medication until you know which steps to take next. Asthma attacks are the worst. Also O-face was considering a hypoallergenic dog. Find out about Lincoln. He may be causing the allergy induced asthma attacks
I had a sudden asthma attack in 1988 when I was 23 years old and that’s how I found out I had asthma. Now I’m allergic to almost everything that causes allergic reactions including shellfish, hair, fur, dust, pollen, flowers and trees. Take care of yourself! Happy Holidays to you and your family!❤
You know? I found out in my twenties, the same way. I remember having frequent respiratory illnesses when I was young though. I have many allergies, too. I also have year-round seasonal allergies.
I don't have asthma but when I was a teenager I had a severe reaction to poison ivy. I became allergic to so many things like pollen from grass, trees, flowers, clams, strawberries, cantaloupe, cats, dust, dust mites, mold, mildew, penicillin etc.
I found out 5 months after moving to my new job that I had adult asthma due to environmental surroundings, and like you, I'm severely allergic to pretty much everything now. Gabe make sure you ask if the steroid shots will cause weight gain, because some will.
@wynettehouston4916 She has a Rx for a steroid inhaler, not the injectable steroids. It has manageable side effects that can mostly be eliminated by rinsing the mouth after using the inhaler.
@@wynetteabc I thought she said that her doctor mentioned that she may have to get the shots in the future once she takes her allergy test. However it's good to know that she doesn't have to right now.

I’m not saying that you are overweight but having extra pounds can contribute to sleep apnea by narrowing the nasal passages. I wish you the best.
You have allergy induced asthma from your new dog. The same thing happens to me. Every time I would be around a dog I would end up in the ER getting a breathing treatment. You’re literally making yourself suffer by having a dog. I pray that everything gets worked out 🙏🏾❤️
Please make a list of questions that you have now about your diagnosis. Also discuss the charges of meds with your insurance plan and switch to a cheaper plan that gives your family what they need.
Hi Gabrielle and Chad. I know you were mentioning about your insurance and yes, it is normal to have high bills like that when you have a high deductible plan. I work for a health insurance company. I wish I could tell you it gets cheaper but you either pay upfront with the high deductible plan, or pay later with the low deductible plan. Copays and coinsurance and all. You have to satisfy your deductible before insurance pays at 100%. If you pay into your HSA you can use that to help offset your healthcare costs. But great video as always. Your family is beautiful and you are all blessed. Merry Christmas 🎄🤗🎄🤗🎄
I love it when you speak medical Understand just as much as you understand I you get better. Especially when they say everything is normal. Well maybe you'll get better soon once you see the doc and you get all the test results back.
I just wanted to add one more thing, I am not saying don't use traditional methods, but I don't think that it should ALWAYS be "the go to method" for everything. Like my school was talking about the use of protective devices...you would try other alternatives BEFORE tying clients up or administering meds first.😊
Contact your insurance and request your formulary list. Give that list to your doctor and have them prescribe something with the same medication that is better covered.

Gabrielle I think the respiratory technician or whoever he was, said what he said because legally he is not authorized to diagnose you with Asthma. Only your primary care provider can do that. He may feel 99.9% that you have asthma, but it's not in the scope of his practice to diagnose it. He will forward the report to your primary care provider who will then confirm or rule out the diagnosis.
Gabe, you are talking to an asthma sufferer with severe allergies. I too complained about the price of the medication, steroids, etc...etc. A friend asked me if I woke up breathing this morning and the answer was yes. He told me to be grateful that the meds were working.❤❤❤ Asthma is serious. Complain as much as you want too...next...regroup. Stay alive for your family.❤❤❤
Please don't play with the asthma diagnosis. Someone very close to me pretty much said the same things you've said in this video. Her favorite was " if yhe results are saying normal then how is it possible to have asthma", " I'm not claiming asthma",etc., She choose to not follow the physicians recommendations. Unfortunately this was a tragic and deadly decision. She died because of a severe attack. She was home alone and had a full blown asthma attack. She called a family member and told them she couldn't breath. By the time the EMT's got to her it was to late. Please, please, please follow Dr.s orders.
My inhaler is $35. The only medication that I pay for with BCBS. In the beginning I was on all of those but now I’m not on anything but still have the inhaler on standby.. mine was allergy and exercise induced.

I wonder if it's like what my son had. When he had bad colds or something he had to use a nebulizer and inhaler at times. Also he was subscribed singulair. This started at the age of 5. Back in 1999 I think they must not have had a name for it like they do now. They didn't label him as having asthma but he had the symptoms. I wonder if he had the same thing you have. He is 29 now. I wonder if after he started playing sports if that helped him to get better.
Hi as well had asthma and I’ve been on This herb called Mullen the end trust me I have not had an asthma symptom in about 20 years you keep the mucus down and you will not have asthma or allergies
I know those pajamas are from Victoria's Secret! I saw them on sale and even got a pair! not the same exact ones as urs but omg. also, I tried the ryze mushroom matcha and didn't like the mushroom flavor in it. it's supposed to be good for you so I'm giving it a shot but I don't know if I'll continue with it.
Gabe I would talk back to ur Dr because most asthmatics tend to have more attacks and side effects with antihistamines. Be careful also taking any NSAIDS like ibuprofen, Aleve, and Motrin. Tylenol is fine.
Gabe, that allergy induced asthma is nothing to play with. I was confused about the results of my asthma test as well, because everything was normal & im only allergic to 2 things (2 types of mold) but something makes me have asthma like symptoms to where I end up in the ER getting multiple breathing treatments.
Hi Gabe, I thought that they had given you this incentive spirometer to take home. I re-watched what you said about it. They already tested you with it and it came back normal. So that's good!
GABRIELLE, THANK YOU FOR THE UPDATE ON YOUR HEALTH, I PRAY THAT YOU EVENTUALLY DON'T HAVE TO USE THE MEDICATIONS AND CHAD DOESN'T HAVE SLEEP APNEA, IN JESUS HOLY NAME, AMEN. MERRY CHRISTMAS. MAY GOD BLESS YOUR FAMILY ALWAYS. 🙂💖🙏🏿✝️🎄 ICE YOUR FACE😅😂🤣😂🧊🧊
Registered Respiratory Therapist here: I’m cracking up 😂, when I was in school I said the same thing, “what are these numbers?” Basically your lung capacity is normal. But please take your meds, an asthma attack is not about the right.
Gabe I was listening to you. Talk about your Allergy and sinus. And that you have an inhaler. I go back to my allergy and sinus doctor. In January My doctor had me breathing into this plastic tube to help build my lungs. And then they're gonna give me another test and see how that works out. He just found out that I have asthma. But I also have a food allergy too. So I was wondering if you could possibly have maybe a food allergy. Anyway, good luck when you go to the doctors.
I understand regarding the healthcare. I want to go to a specific doctor, but I would have to leave my HMO in order to do that, and I'm concerned as to how my costs are going to skyrocket...
Asthma meds are high period. My enhaler costs me only about $50 BUT I also have to have this attachment which isn't covered at all and if the doctors office doesnt have one to give free that thing costs like $100+ no coverage at all💜💜💜
@LelanisKitchen Yes, that's called an "Aerochamber" by one manufacturer. It's sad that they charge $100. Lord help us. At some places, you can get it free in the city run clinics. Thanks for your reply. 💖
If you have to use a CPap. Try the 1 piece mouth and nose coverage, it was better for me to get use to. I am praying that you don't need one at all. Maybe the mouth piece will be enough to help you out.

I agree they should give Lincoln updates. Gabe do you think shampooing the carpet may trigger an asthma attack?
Y'all going do a ginger bread house competition..
Sleep apnea runs in my family and quality of life has improved for us. Wake up rested without the need for a nap.
I've tried Ryze, I didn't care for it. 😊
Ice your face 😂😂

I've been trying Ryze for about a week now. I'm not really a coffee drinker but I will drink this or put it in my chocolate smoothie!.
We use Four Sigmatic a lot and regular coffee - Linc is a joy, just take your allergy meds

Good night ❤❤
#iceyaface 😂😂❤
" This is not an ad " 😂😂 Ok! Love y'all! ❤
Great vlog guys! I'm now about to go and ice my face 🤣
No, you ain’t ask him for too much. At least you know your dog is there
❤❤❤
I know those pajamas are from Victoria's Secret! I saw them on sale and even got a pair! not the same exact ones as urs but omg. also, I tried the ryze mushroom matcha and didn't like the mushroom flavor in it. it's supposed to be good for you so I'm giving it a shot but I don't know if I'll continue with it.
Gabe I would talk back to ur Dr because most asthmatics tend to have more attacks and side effects with antihistamines. Be careful also taking any NSAIDS like ibuprofen, Aleve, and Motrin. Tylenol is fine.
In your next home go for all hardwood instead of carpet. It’s better for your Asthma.
Thank you for the video
HEY Y'ALL ❤. GREAT VIDEO THANK YOU FOR SHARING BE BLESSED.
Sounds like OSA to me! Praying for you Chad!!!
Registered Respiratory Therapist here: I’m cracking up 😂, when I was in school I said the same thing, “what are these numbers?”
Basically your lung capacity is normal.
But please take your meds, an asthma attack is not about the right.
Holistic doctor needed for detoxing the symptoms and the gut. and melatonin needed for sleep.
Gabe my hubby retired Marine has me on his TRICARE. It’s sucky but it’s a little cheaper.
I understand regarding the healthcare. I want to go to a specific doctor, but I would have to leave my HMO in order to do that, and I'm concerned as to how my costs are going to skyrocket...
Asthma meds are high period. My enhaler costs me only about $50 BUT I also have to have this attachment which isn't covered at all and if the doctors office doesnt have one to give free that thing costs like $100+ no coverage at all💜💜💜
Are you referring to the Aerochamber?! If so, that's crazy.
It's basically a piece of plastic, but highly essential. 😮
@@wynetteabc I don't know what its called but they said it prevents you from losing any of the mist so you inhale it all
@LelanisKitchen Yes, that's called an "Aerochamber" by one manufacturer.
