My big noob mistake was when i started out in june 2024. I was new to the hobby and the mistake was we chose the color instead of the color AND the chassis. I ended up getting AR Chassis, and my cousins got MS Chassis.
It is most likely due to the motor. There was a story from my Team Leader in my workplace where when he was young, his brother tried to impress his playmates with his new 4wd. But he forgot that his motor was newly replaced. So when he tried to open it up and placed on a track, it went Baby Driver mode (backwards).

You can use definitely use Tamiya Neo champ batteries since they are also NiMH.
