We were getting ready to buy a new machine after I cleaned it with vinegar and it stopped brewing. I used your method of pushing water through and I was so excited to see it brewing again, not only that all this crud came out into the water that was probably blocking the water from going through. Thank you so much for sharing this idea for us on the internet for free! Bless you
Great troubleshooting solve! Between this video and your full descale video, my keurig is back up and running. Thanks for taking the time to make these helpful videos.
Thank you!! I've been working on trying to get my Keurig to brew correctly all day and it would only brew a few ounces. I thought maybe there was just a large clog so I used an entire gallon jug of vinegar and brewed both the single cup and the pot numerous times and still was having issues, even with the descale light off. I pushed water and air through and now it's working great! Thank you so so much for the tips!
Thank you, thank you, thank you! Spent the whole morning and half the afternoon trying to get my Keurig to brew a full pot with no success. After using your tip to blow it out with a baster, it is working like a charm. YOU ROCK!
Thanks! By accident I discovered my problem was the spring loaded tank drain valve. It didn't look bad to my 53 year eyes but under a magnifying glass it was nasty. Turkey baster didn't touch it so I removed the screws but it doesn't come out easy (probably some sort of press fit) so I left in there. I turned my tank upside down in the sink and ran water into the spring valve while repeatedly pushing the valve down with a small screwdriver. Walla! All better.
Thank you so much for posting. I think that this is a common problem on Keurig and sometimes by using the turkey baster and depressing the spring doesn't to the trick. That spring is a crucial part and by turning it upside down and flushing water and using the screwdriver solved the problem.
Posting in the comments here since this is the first thing that came up for all my search queries trying to find a fix for my problem. I bought a duo from goodwill, plugged it in, only got a few ounces out of either spout. Vinegar didn't help, pumping water through with a turkey baster flushed out some grounds but only helped a little. What helped was removing the screws from the bottom so I could remove the sides, and thwacking the big white reservoir on the side with the butt of my screwdriver a good few times. I gave the other pumps a good few thumps too, but I'm pretty sure the white reservoir that gets hot was the one that cleared it up. It might have helped that I did this while trying to run a descaling cycle so water was running while I was hitting it. I'm mad that this worked.
Found out that after running straight water after it doesn't run a full charafe cycle is the way to go. I will definitely dilute the vinegar with much more water next time!!!!
My wife descaled ours and now it will only go through and spit out a couple ounces on the cup side and the carfe side. I tried all the things you said and still no go.
Your video mentions an "air lock", but it doesn't seem to say what to do to clear it? For me, I unplug the Keurig, take off the water reservoir and shelf where the cup sits. I pick up the machine, turn it on its side, and slap its bottom a couple times. That clears it, but then it will only work for a few cups and I'll have to do it again. The problem is when I brew a cup, water will only come out briefly (if at all) and then nothing. It will grumble and hum for a minute, then stop, with no coffee having had come out. 🤷🏻♂
Using the turkey baster to push water threw the bottom clears the air lock. Think you have something else wrong inside the machine where the tubing is. There are videos out there that show how to access the tubing inside the Keurig machine.
I tried to descale my daughter's keurig duo with the vinegar and it won't brew at all. I tried the baster and pushing the spring and nothing is working. It worked fine before I did this. I'm very upset now that I have to tell my daughter that I broke her machine! 😢
Check the basket where you put the coffee in. Remove the basket. There is a spring under the basket that allows the water to flow thru. Make sure that is not clogged and push on the spring to check if it works.. Check your needles on the k cup side. One inside the basket and one under the lid. Take a paper clip to clean any grinds that may have caught in there. Also check out this video: th-cam.com/video/7p9Dr_wdQvs/w-d-xo.html
Read some where similar problem. Unplug your Keurig and wait 30 seconds plug it back in. It was mentioned that unplugging it reset the coffee machine. Look for any coffee grinds in the single cup side that may effect flow and clean needle valve that punctures K Cup'
si te pasa que no funciona bien , tírala a la basura y compra otra de marca diferente mas sencilla ya que las keurig vienen con mucha tecnología y armadas con muchos cosas caras que fallan fácil y no las podrás arreglar , la peor cafetera If it happens to you that it doesn't work well, throw it in the trash and buy another one from a different, simpler brand since Keurigs come with a lot of technology and are armed with many expensive things that fail easily and you won't be able to fix them, the worst coffee maker.

Great video! Do you happen to know how to fix display screen? I can barely make out the clock. Unplugging and plugging back in do not work
Thank you. Don't know any fixes to fix the display. I assume the LCD display plug is not connected properly. Taking that apart would be a challenge.

I just buy a New one 😢😢😢 we tried everthing Still dont work
Why do all light flash
After you make coffee it flashes for you to choose another selection.
Think it stops flashes after a certain time.
$2.50 Turkey blaster fixed $100 Keurig.
Who would have thought a turkey baster could save you money.
I must have bigger problems. None of this works also it drips on the other side while the pot is filling
