"too much power"? heck no... THEY DID GREAT!
I actually really enjoyed this cover, everyone is on point and their extra power in the dance is refreshing. I prefer this over sulli not even trying in f(x) live performances.

Anyone who says this has "too much power," and I knew before I even looked at the comments that statement would show up, is fooling themselves into believing f(x) did this choreography any justice. Now I'm not trying to hate on f(x), I would be their fan if I knew what to call myself, but they seem to be going through a hard time, like everyone in SM at the moment. They were just not on their game during Red Light promotions, you could see it on their faces. This cover was awesome, I don't think the choreography has ever made so much sense to me. f(x), granted they have to compensate dance to be able to sing, their performance felt so disconnected to me. yeah, this cover had a few moves that were over accented, but for the most part, it was better.
Roy Lowery I definitely agree that they didn't seem happy during Red Light promotions. However this concept is not a hard hitting one it's a chic-abstract concept. The choreo isn't supposed to be strong. On top of having to sing as performer's f(x) is also supposed to convey the emotion of the song which isn't sharp like how this group interpreted it. Both versions are fine but you're saying f(x) didn't do the choreo justice please..gtfo.

I personally thought you did great! To the people that are saying that it's too powerful, well, it IS a dance cover, it shouldn't be a complete replica of f(x)'s. They did it their own style and hit every sharp part that I never noticed before and it was breath taking. Once again, Def Dance left me speechless!

Read the comments before watching and got scared, but they were actually amazing imo. The girl who danced in luna's place was my favorite.
And just fyi, this was recorded less than a month after the actual release of Red Light, so considering that they learned this in a month while f(x) probably had more time than them tells me they're probably pretty damn good.

I am a F(x) fan but, I say F(x) needs to have this much power or more. They did not dance too powerful, they danced it perfectly. Better than F(x) in my opinion. This song is not a song to dance lazily on, it should be performed with power and hard hitting dance moves. I mean besides Sulli because, she is not feeling so well.

They did great. They dance gracefully. Although 'Red Light' projects strong but with class or elegance moves, not with too much movement. I agree with 'they did it with too much power'. No hate. But I like it.

I love their powerful dances and really appreciate their confidence from themself because it's so charming,right?
To the people who say "Too much power", here's a little story: So there's a dancer in SM called Kasper (some may be familiar with him, he danced for SNSD's Mr Mr). Recently, he danced a small part of Call Me Baby at a dance competition he was judging (if anyone's curious, it's here /watch?v=7l3FRtRgMDY). I bet a lot of you who watch that would also think he dances it "too powerfully" compared to EXO. But here's the thing, Kasper is the choreographer of Call Me Baby. So rather than Kasper dancing it "too powerfully", the truth is that EXO actually dances it a little weakly. And by saying this I don't mean to put down EXO, because here's the thing: Not all of EXO are dancers. Ever noticed how maybe Kai or Lay dances more powerfully than the other members? That's because Kai & Lay are dancers, and while the rest of the members /can/ dance, they don't dance to the same caliber. This is also the case here (and in most if not all Def Dance covers): ALL of these girls are dancers, but f(x) only has two main dancers (Victoria & Luna), and so, of course, those dancing Sulli's, Krystal's, or Amber's parts are going to look "too powerful" in comparison to the original, but in actuality, this is the way the dance is supposed to look.
