From my research, most say not to layer anything on top of glitter HTV. How is your shirt holding up? Asking so I know if I actually have to slice or just layer as you did. Thank you in advance for your help.
So from my experience, I haven't had issues with layering vinyl on top of the glitter. My shirt is holding up well after like 4 washes. All HTV can be cared for different;y, but if you use the Siser brand like I did then I think you'll be fine

I have tried and every time I test cut it it good but cut the actual project it either slices up the glitter paper (Siser) or doesnt cut the hole deep for a Rhinestone template (Rock It Rhinestone Flock). Can you advise the best settings for the glitter and the smooth heat vinyl and Rhinestone template flock?
Hi! I'm glad this video helped you. I don't use rhinestone template flock so I won't be much help there, but for my glitter setting with Siser htv, I use: Force=33, Speed=5, with a Blade depth of 7 or higher.
Hi, yeah so this layering method can be applied to vinyl that isn’t glitter...so solid colors work well too. & I buy all of my vinyl from Heat Transfer Warehouse

This video was really helpful. What is the difference between cut edge and cut? Do they both work the same?
Ideally they do! however, say if you have a design and the edge is going to be a different color, then you cut edge will be helpful

Why don't u use the heat protection piece on top so it don't get stuck to heat press?
I normally do, in this particular video I just didn’t. & in case you wanted to know, it’s called a Teflon sheet ☺️
