I did these flights round trip from LAX to BKK on Saudia in January. Being such a long haul flight I opted for Business Class on all 4 of my flights. I would most definitely fly Saudia again.
In 1980 I flew from Houston to Dhahran straight through. I think it was a 747 that was shortened and fuel capacity added. I want to say it was owned by Aramco. Took forever. Video was extremely well done. Would have liked to see more people interaction, but as I recall, you have to be considerate where you point the camera. Awesome. Shukran.
I can't imagine flying for eight hours, let alone sixteen! I love the 777 and that seat configuration. The lack of alcohol wouldn't bother me at all. It's probably better not to drink while flying, anyway, because all alcohol does is dehydrate you.

I would even rate SV 9,5/10 in terms of seats and service when you consider their competitors having 10 seats abreast in Economy on their 777's flying long haul with less service on food and beverages served. Saudia became a true competitor in the past years and we truly consider them whenever our plans call for travel. No matter what class of service, Saudia performs very well - and is among KLM one of my preferred Airlines. 👍 ✈⭐⭐⭐⭐(⭐)

The last I would choose an Airline by would be the question if they have alcoholic beverages on offer! It that's your upmost concern... I don't know! 🙉👎

It's a terrible flight! Only small omlit for breakfast to last u 10 hours until you get a small pizza slice!! Very terrible
