    This is a wonderful scale Tigermoth, my favourite retro warbird, no question. Easy assembly apart from the rigging wires, but you just have to take your time and enjoy the build. I angled the landing gear forward more for easier landing on grass, and sprayed with semigloss clear enamel to protect the paint and decals.

      I just have got to have one!! I haven't flown RC in 40 years... It's time to get back into it!! I always enjoyed building them ... But I never really was proficient flying them .... Just not enough practice... My first rc model was a Sig Cadet....
      I love the Tiger Moth.... One of the most beautiful planes ever designed! So cool that you and your wife where able to fly together in formation!!! Classic!!! Looking forward to more videos!
      Cheers Mate!!

    Hi Andrew, great job, just what I didn't need! now I just have to go and order one. I too had a fly in a real 'Captain Boggles' Moth with the genuine Gypsy Major plant.. life changing experience as I got the full 'payback' treatment, loops, hammerheads, inverted passes, man I was hooked by terror.. seeing all those wires and wooden bits buzzing in the wind does something to you especially at negative G. Anyway, you should do yourself a huge favour with that bird and fit a HobbyEagle A3 Super II stabiliser, it will blow you away, it literally puts the plane on rails and removes gravity. That plane may have to go on my single item Christmas want list to be conspicuously placed in order to be discovered accidentally by my wife..

      Sounds like you have a plan, good luck, it's a ripper.

    Andrew, I think the struts on the main landing gear should fit between the two lugs on the legs, not outside them squeezing them together. Otherwise great build and I shall definitely bend the main legs forward when I build mine.

    Looks fantastic. I think the spray on looks a lot better than the paint on stuff I used on the Pitts, but that paint definitely looks better with it on either way. I'll be looking forward to seeing it in the air. Saturday looks like excellent conditions too. Hope there is no cricket!

    • @AndrewNewton
      @AndrewNewton  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Oh yes, forgot about the cricket. Our area has been mowed which is ominous.

      And if I'm reading their fixture correctly Barown Sth Yellow are playing Oval 7 at 8.30am. Might need to start scouting new locations....

    If the maiden is Saturday, Let me know and I can bring down either the Albatross or the Se5a and fit one with Fpv
    You can put on the tail cam and I could follow you
    Might make great fighter video especially from the Se5a as it has the flashing guns
    👌

    That is not a "build" You "built" nothing, nada, zip. You assembled pre-made parts. That is not "building".

    • @AndrewNewton
      @AndrewNewton  7 ปีที่แล้ว

      Well I enjoyed assembling it
