Gentlemen, this was awesome to watch the Beamdog team play. Designing this enterprise to have more of a community mindset--is outstanding! I'm halfway around the world from one of my Air Force buddies, and we're having a great time with it.
I Have literally played thousands of games on boards and the old A&A disc game. Even went to the Games stores and bought a new off spin back in the day that had Dutch an Vichy French Expansion. I Challenge any of you lol !! We used to play it in the barracks or on ship would lay it out on my Xray Table on ship lol.
Please do other versions of Axis and Allies!! I love this version but there are so many other versions that would be great to play in the A&A franchise

How do you make a private game that just my family will play? When I try to create a game, others jump in - I'm sure it's obvious, but new to online -thank you
One question. How do you actually retreat in this game? I dont mean what are the rules about when and with what you can withdraw, I mean which buttons do you press to actually withdraw units? The instructions are EXTREMELY unclear.
Very cool, but when are we going to get the anniversary addition online, weapons development, or any other addition online? Like Pacific, bloodbath, Guadalcanal etc... Doesn't have to be crazy graphics just simple board game, but updated...
The one thing that hurts this game, without having several maps to choose from, is that no matter how many times you play as any particular side, you're stuck with the same strategy over and over, especially against the AI. The US and Britain are pretty weak, while Japan and Germany are really tough. You can't really simulate (translate) WW2 by consolidating units, and factories based on IPC's, because you never have enough IPC's, and you lose valuable ground to the enemy, building economic structures just to increase your armies by a few units.
Is that possible to play that game in multiplayer Mode like Old axis allies from about 2004.Is that possible to create its own maps and battles like in the Old game. Design-m here
@@BeamTrent I am getting a RELOAD pop-up message on my 11 inch iPad Pro. I am able to get back into the game after several tries...I have over 400 GB of available free memory.
The stratejory is...veeery interesting...and I commend all of you on your English. Not once, did I detect the hint of a Russian, German, or Japanese accent. Despite the possibility of added realism, I suppose that the Geneva Convention and Animal Rights Groups would prevent the integration of shock collars into the game?

Thank god.. I thought I was the only one that actually was realising this, and people here saying "what a game" lmao. It feels hard to believe and quite embarrassing tbh that the devs of a game can play such an awful game. Any of the Platinium players I play with would notice this as soon as round one finished. Nolan Beck (Germany) arguing to always builds a carrier on turn 1 😂.. Uk forgot to move s Africa's and Canadian infantry, poor purchasing even worse overall strategy. Japan neglecting East Asia and Manchuria invested 3turns to invade China and eventually lost it, building the most useless IC inThailand-French IndoChina etc.. US and SU same.. I was expecting a good and interesting game played by the actual designers of it, instead, I ended up watching a wood league game that ended up with players forfeiting after a sad 2-hour game.
I feel like the developers made a Chinese knock off of the original game. Yes it works but that's it. I feel that their direction for the game was too traditional. The gameboard could of had elevations and many other things included. The troop icons could have been better. They could have included animations for battles. They could have added the ability to adjust starting board troops. I downloaded the original axis and allies for pc to see the difference. The old game is better. They don't have tutorials. Is a very minimalistic game. They could have added challenge modes. The worst part of all is that they can't program a good A.I. so they just changed dice odds. So now you have to have 3x the units to get a win.

What a different version to the original with new territories. I'll have to give it a go.

It is just a board game. And the randomization and positional differences makes a crazy amount of situations by turn 5 and later

Wake up Beamdog!! The game crash constantly no matter if it's single player or multiplayer. A lot of A&A gamers are mad at you. SOLVE THIS BUG
