I really like the fact that Tantai Jin will learn that she came from the future and saw the devastation he brought as the cruel Devil God she knew in her timeline during the tower scene. I think this revelation would give him the will he needed to live for 500 years to see her again instead of going to the Ghost River to search for her soul like in the 2 previous adaptations. At least this way, Susu would be less restrained about the information she knew with him as he tries to his best to make up for his mistakes since it will be only the two of them who retained the information
