Damn that was some good tennis. He can really wind up that one hander too. You both look like you're playing above your UTR in this, even though they're already high ratings
Great match dude! I know we used to compete against each other during conference but I’m glad you’re still grinding after college. Keep it up bro hopefully I see you again at a future tourney
@@Eternal_Tennis yes very good program, you play in same conference with George Fox another great program!! The west is tough with you guys , CMS, Pomona P, Caltech, etc just like here in the northeast with the NESCAC Conference, there about 6-8 teams every year ranked nationally ….. good luck w your tennis bro
What level open? The open at our local rec center just finished. It was a L4. I’m sure there were some 9s and 10s in the early rounds, but the semis were all 12+ UTRs.
Super entertaining. Looks like one or both of you uses the "next gen" forehand where you curve the racquet completely around in the backswing. Was that taught to you or you just saw Sinner doing it? I only noticed this as a thing in the past month.
cool! a great match! and both played in good spirits!! although that young fella racquet tap on the ground all the time lol. i can tell hes smashed a few racquets already . but thats how it starts lol. the racquet tap on the ground in anger. i know lol
On hits where you really dig into your size and use your power the result is scary. I’m curious to see what it would look like if you emphasized extra explosion in a match, even if there was some sacrifice of precision.
I recorded matches for our USTA Regionals and Sectionals and the referees were ok with it. I didn’t need to blur anyone’s face. This was 15 years ago. So might be different now.
I couldn't find what you described, but I did find the one-liner that states they reserve the rights for any video broadcast and monetary value. It's possible that some YT channels could be breaking the rules if they are monetized.

Not a lawyer, don't work in this field but my understanding is if you're in public area, there is no expectation of privacy and USTA official cannot forbid recording especially since your opponent agreed to be in the video. Plain view doctrine states what the eyes can see in plain site on a public area can be photographed and recorded. USTA official has no authority to not appear on video if he is present in a public area. Now if the courts are restricted to run an access restricted event what I said previously can be ignored. Again best to ask someone who is a lawyer in the state/city you are located for an official answer than some random TH-cam person hahaha. Anyways good playing against the high school player.
Love how effortless your shots look. Your opponent's backhand is nuts too. Thanks for posting such high level play!
@@tenniszerg Of course! Thank you for the comment and glad you enjoyed!

Appreciate it!
That was some awesome tennis to watch! Both of you are really good players, very fun to watch!
Thrilled that you enjoyed! Thank you
Your strokes and playstyle are so smooth man
Thank you!!!
Props to your opponent, huge dap (handshake!) at the end there! SMACK Fun match to watch you guys are excellent!
Thank you and thanks for watching. Glad you enjoyed the match!
Great hitting and nice win! Your backhand reminds me of Safin's - super-compact and smooth, yet effortless power.
Thank you so much! Thank you for watching!
Dang nice games. Dude was solid ass hell with a mean DTL BH
For real!

Much love bro. Appreciate the support!
Great playing, where did you play your college tennis? I coach at d3 school in northeast and I’m guessing you played at a ranked school?
I played for Pacific University. D3 school out in Oregon. At the time we were ranked

No problem 👍
one hander guy plays just like Thiem it's crazy

This one was only an L6

I see what you mean. The “racquet curve” as you call it has always been a part of my take-back. Just a part of my swing that I developed naturally.
dudes one handed backhand is nice
2nd video I watched. Experience = high IQ. Slicing his high topspin short nice.
Hell yea! Shoutout Lakewood TC$$
Bro, your touch shots are ridiculous! How low of a tension are you using? Great match to post!
Haha thank you. My tension is at 52lbs
9:06 sneaky sneaky
This level looks UTR 11+ to me. Amazing level. How do you do against guys who are 11-12? Can’t imagine you are far off.
I can hang with a couple of those guys but not quite at the level yet. Looking to get back up there though!
9 utr!? Idk this looks like d1 tennis to me from both players. 5.0+ for sure
Thank you 🙏🏽

Thank you. Glad that you enjoyed the match! Not sure about the racquet smashes, but yes, there were a couple racquet taps during the match.
@@Eternal_Tennis Yea, all fine if he chooses to smash them after the point, but this guy was banging it IN the point. Not cool IMO.
9:54 That volley was disgusting
What strings are you using here? FireWire?
These are YTex Protour
Thanks for sharing. Where are you playing?
This match was at Lakewood Tennis Center in Long Beach, CA
@@Eternal_Tennis Woah. Used to play my high school matches on these courts. They look entirely different now!

Interesting idea. Will have to try this next time. Might be tough to sustain for an entire match, but worth trying!
Which Wilson shift racquet is that? 99 or 99 pro
It’s a Technifibre racquet. Not Wilson

Interesting. Thanks for that insight? Which state were you in? I don’t think it would really matter but just curious.
@@Eternal_Tennis It was in Richmond in Virginia.
what Racket you use?
Technifibre TFlight ISO 305
Players who yell like that had better make the pro tour or they should never be allowed to yell again.
This is why tennis has such a hard time growing the support. Why they’re giving you a hard time about filming a match is beyond me.
I will be at this level one day. Sooner than later
USTA has an official's guide on line. It has a section on recording the match.

Good tennis. No fun to watch without scores. Would be great if you could add at least game scores.

No, it’s way better without it.
brazy mode
yessir!
Both of you have way too much action on the forehand takeback that's causing a lot of inconsistencies and errors
True
Kinda makes me think of paire and gasquet. Maybe you're a bit French? 😂
Watch out, we have a pro coach here
Thinking the same watching this
